NEWCASTLE v ARSENAL

Newcastle suffered a defeat against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
Alexander Isak did score to equalise an earlier Blues goal which meant the game was level at the break.
Unfortunately, for the travelling Toon Army in attendance, their idols conceded a 2nd just after the restart and with no further goals, suffered the loss by a 2-1 score.
That’s 3 defeats in the last 5 Premier League games with 2 draws from the other 2.
Two points from a possible 15, is simply not good enough for a team of Newcastle’s stature.
Eddie’s Magpies face Enzo’s Blues again on Wednesday in the Carabao Cup, this time at St James Park, where Mr Howe will want to gain revenge.
Newcastle sit in 12th place with the same 12 points as Bournemouth and Fulham.
Despite having a few players missing with injuries and suspensions such as William Saliba and Martin Odegaard, Arsenal gained a great point from a draw by a 2-2 score against Liverpool at the Emirates on Sunday.
Most regular readers will know that John Newsome always follows up a ‘2-2’ scoreline with,
The Archbishop was happy.
This is a reference to the Archbishop Desmond Tutu.
As in ‘2-2’.
There was a funny moment on the radio the other day when the ex-Tottenham (and a number of other clubs) Striker Darren Bent who was on TalkSport and is an Arsenal fan, got his Desmond’s mixed up and referred to a ‘2-2’ as a Desmond Douglas.
Bless him!
It was quite funny, as Desmond Douglas is a former British Table Tennis player.
Bukayo Saka scored the opener on Sunday with Mikel Merino adding a 2nd to leave the Gunners leading at the break.
Liverpool did equalise Bukayo’s goal before Mikel scored.
Despite leading for most of the 2nd-half, Arsenal conceded in the 81st minute and with no further goals, both teams gained a point apiece.
Arsenal sit 3rd in the table with the same 18 points as Aston Villa from the opening 9 fixtures.
This fixture last season between these two at St James Park, took place almost 12 months ago to the day, on the 4th of November 2023.
A single Anthony Gordon goal in the 64th minute gave Newcastle the home victory over Arsenal by a 1-0 score.
Arsenal did gain revenge at the Emirates later on in the campaign, with Mikel’s Young Guns inflicting a defeat on Eddie’s Magpies by a 4-1 score.
Betfred offer Newcastle at 12/5, the Draw at 13/5 and slight Odds On 19/20 for Arsenal to come away with all 3-points.
Betfred offer 23/10 that Bukayo Saka Scores Anytime and 12/5 that Arsenal Win To Nil.

BOURNEMOUTH v MAN CITY
15.00 in England
Bournemouth’s last 3 results have been a Loss, a Win and a Draw, the Draw coming against Aston Villa on Saturday.
After conceding a Villa goal and with time running out, Evanilson got his head on a Marcus Tavernier free kick and directed the ball into the back of the net in the 96th minute to earn the Cherries a point from a draw by a 1-1 score.
The point gained leaves Bournemouth in 11th place with the same 12 points as Fulham and Newcastle from the opening 9 fixtures played so far.
This EveryTip column assumed Man City would smash Southampton on Saturday, at least scoring around 7 goals, however, despite Pep’s High Flying Blues dominating Russell’s Saints, a single Erling Haaland goal was the difference, giving City the home victory by a 1-0 scoreline.
Probably the strange anomaly in that result was Erling scored in the 5th minute and it was thought that the goals would flow but that wasn’t the case with Southampton putting in a dogged defensive display to constantly thwart Man City’s advances.
That said, a win is a win, regardless of the scoreline, so Pep and his Blues just need to put that game to bed and move on to this fixture at the Vitality.
With Arsenal taking on Liverpool a day later, Man City went to the summit of the Premier League Table with 23 points from the initial 9 fixtures completed.
The subsequent draw at the Emirates between Mikel’s Young Guns and Arne’s Slot Machines meant Man City stayed at the Top of the Table.
Phil Foden scored the solitary winning goal in the 24th minute when these two met at the Vitality last season to give Pep’s High Flying Blues the victory over Andoni’s Cherries by a 1-0 away day scoreline.
Betfred offer Bournemouth at 9-2, the Draw at 3/1 and Odds On 8/15 for Man City to come away with all 3-points.
Betfred offer 3/1 that Erling Haaland Scores First and 11/8 that there are Over 3.5 Goals.
(If your pre-match First Goalscorer bet scores First and then scores a Second, Betfred DOUBLE the odds.
If they score a Third, Betfred TREBLE the odds.)

IPSWICH v LEICESTER
15.00 in England
Ipswich played in a very entertaining game at the GTech Stadium against Brentford on Saturday but despite scoring 3 away day goals, came away with nothing following a defeat by a 4-3 scoreline.
Sammie Szmodics and George Hirst scored to give Ipswich an early lead, however, Brentford scored twice to take both teams in level at the break.
The 2nd Brentford goal being credited as a Harrison Clarke OG.
Brentford then scored a 3rd via the penalty spot, before Harrison compounded his personal misery by receiving a 2nd Yellow Card and the subsequent Red to leave Ipswich a man-lite for the last 20 minutes.
Liam Delap did score an equaliser for the 10-Men Tractor Boys and when it looked like a draw was earned, Brentford scored the winner in the 96th minute to inflict a devastating defeat on the away team.
Ipswich are now in the relegation zone sitting in 18th place with 4 points from the opening 9 games.
There is still no victory for Kieran McKenna’s Boys with 4 Draws and 5 Losses, which is something that Kieran needs to address.
A quick note regarding George Hirst, John Newsome is from the same place as George’s Dad David and remembers Dave wearing a Barnsley Jersey back in the day.
One realises one is getting old.
Leicester suffered a defeat in the East Midlands Derby against Nottingham Forest on Friday Night Football.
Despite Jamie Vardy scoring to equalise a Forest opener, the Tricky Trees scored twice in the 2nd-half to inflict a defeat on the ex-Boss Steve Cooper and his Foxes.
That’s 2 Losses and 2 Wins from the last 4 games leaving Leicester sitting in 15th place with the same 9 points as Everton from 9 fixtures completed.
In last season’s fixture between these two teams at Portman Rd, both shared the points from a draw by a 1-1 score.
That was a Championship affair, with Sam Morsy scoring for Ipswich in the 93rd minute to equalise an earlier Stephy Mavididi goal to give the Tractor Boys and the Foxes a point apiece on their way to promotion into the Promised Land.
Betfred offer Ipswich at 23/20, the Draw at 12/5 and 21/10 for Leicester to come away with all 3-points.
Betfred offer 7/4 that Liam Delap Scores Anytime and 21/10 that Jamie Vardy Scores Anytime.

LIVERPOOL v BRIGHTON
15.00 in England
This fixture brings a couple of New Boys to
the party, with Arne Slot facing Fabian Hurzeler, replacing Jurgen Klopp and Roberto De Zerbi from the last five encounters.
Liverpool played in a great game against Arsenal at the Emirates on Sunday.
After conceding an early goal, Virgil Van Dijk headed an equaliser midway through the 1st-half.
Unfortunately, for the away fans in attendance, Liverpool conceded a 2nd to trail at the interval.
Mo Salah scored a brilliant goal late on to level the game and give both teams a point from a draw by a 2-2 score.
Desmond Douglas was happy!
With Man City getting a victory the day before, Liverpool slipped to 2nd in the Premier League Table with 22 points from the 9 games played so far.
Brighton snatched a draw from the jaws of victory against Wolves on Saturday.
One uses those words as Fabian’s Seagulls were leading by 2 goals to nil going into the final couple of minutes.
Danny Welbeck and Evan Ferguson with the Brighton goals.
Wolves then somehow managed to score 2 goals to gain a point from a draw by a 2-2 score.
Both Desmond’s were happy!
As mentioned in the Wolves v Crystal Palace preview above, Brighton broke away in the final minutes with 4 players attacking and only 1 Wolves player defending.
The Flock of Seagulls could have done anything with the ball, kick it into the corner and waste time, knock it into Row Z and waste time, anything to see out the game but decided to go for goal and made a pass which the 1 Wolves player cut out and sent the ball forward to a Gold and Black who scored the eventual equaliser in the 93rd minute.
It will have hurt everyone in the Amex but as always it was a point gained that leaves Brighton in 6th place with the same 16 points as Nottingham Forest.
Jurgen’s Reds gained the home victory over Roberto’s Seagulls when these two met at Anfield last season.
Danny Welbeck opened the scoring for Brighton in the 2nd minute before Luis Diaz equalised for Liverpool to take both teams in level at the break.
Mo Salah scored the winner just after the hour mark to give Liverpool the points from a 2-1 scoreline.
Betfred offer Liverpool at Odds On 4/11, the Draw at 4/1 and 6/1 for Brighton to come away with all 3-points.
Betfred offer 4/1 that Mo Salah Scores First and Evens 1/1 that there are Over 3.5 Goals.
(If your pre-match First Goalscorer bet scores First and then scores a Second, Betfred DOUBLE the odds.
If they score a Third, Betfred TREBLE the odds.)

NOTTINGHAM FOREST v WEST HAM
15.00 in England
Nottingham Forest played on Monday Night Football gaining a win against Crystal Palace, then were straight back out again on Friday Night Football, travelling the short distance over to the King Power to face the ex-Boss Steve Cooper and his Leicester team.
Ryan Yates scored the opener which was equalised by Jamie Vardy to take both teams in level at the break.
It was then the Chris Wood show, with the New Zealand Striker scoring twice to give Forest the 2nd victory in 4 Nights, this time by a 3-1 away scoreline.
That was Chris’s 3rd goal of the week and the 7th of the season so far, now joint 3rd in the scoring charts behind Bryan Mbeumo and Erling Haaland and with the same as Cole Palmer
Nottingham Forest sit in 7th place with the same 16 points as Brighton from the opening 9 games.
West Ham somehow managed to get a victory against Manchester United on Sunday.
Somehow, because United should have been 5-Nil up at half-time but missed a hatful of chances.
Having gone in level at the break, Julen Lopetegui tweaked a few things that eventually saw the ex-Leeds Striker Crysencio Summerville score the opener with his first Hammers goal.
West Ham did concede an equaliser but with time running out ‘somehow’ were awarded a penalty.
The on-field referee David Coote waved play on but was eventually told to look at the pitch-side monitor by the dreaded VAR who just happened to be Michael Oliver.
It was somehow deemed that Danny Ings was fouled by Matthijs De Ligt but not many people agreed and in truth, it wasn’t a controversial decision not to initially give a penalty, so VAR shouldn’t have got involved.
Regardless of whether the decision was right or wrong, the penalty was awarded and subsequently despatched by Jarrod Bowen in the 92nd minute to give West Ham the victory by a 2-1 scoreline.
A lot have said that the win (and it was a win) just papered over the cracks at the London Stadium and West Ham are struggling.
However, the ‘a lot’ are the same folk who wanted David Moyes out of the club.
John Newsome doesn’t like the term that is often used, ‘be careful what you wish for!’ as folk have a right to offer up an opinion, however, was it the correct call to get rid of David Moyes?
Most will say that West Ham didn’t ‘get rid’ and that Mr Moyes left of his own accord but that was only because the Scot didn’t feel that he was wanted by the Bubbles who do have form for having a bit of a moan.
West Ham sit in 13th place with the same 11 points as Manchester United who slip below the Hammers after Sunday’s result.
Taiwo Awoniyi and Callum Hudson-Odoi scored the Forest goals in last season’s encounter at the City Ground to give Nuno’s Tricky Trees the victory over David’s Hammers by a 2-0 scoreline.
Betfred offer Nottingham Forest at 23/20, the Draw at 12/5 and 21/10 for West Ham to come away with all 3-points.
Betfred offer 11/2 that Chris Wood Scores First and slight Odds On 4/6 that Both Teams Score.
(If your pre-match First Goalscorer bet scores First and then scores a Second, Betfred DOUBLE the odds.
If they score a Third, Betfred TREBLE the odds.)

SOUTHAMPTON v EVERTON
15.00 in England
Southampton suffered another defeat on Saturday, this time against Man City at the Etihad.
When the Saints conceded a goal in the 5th minute, it could have been assumed that City would get a hat full, however, some dogged defending by the Southampton players, meant City only scored the one goal.
That said, it was still a loss, which is the 8th from 9 games, leaving Russell Martin’s Saints at the Bottom of the Table with 1 point.
Everton scored a late goal to gain a point from a draw by a 1-1 score against Fulham at Goodison Park on Saturday.
After conceding a Fulham goal on the hour mark, scored by the ex-Toffee Alex Iwobi, Beto, who had just come on as a late substitute, scored the equaliser in the 94th minute to earn Everton a draw.
Everton sit in 16th place with the same 9 points as Leicester from the opening 9 games completed.
When the Toffees last ventured the long-distance South to face the Saints, Everton gained the away day victory over Southampton by a 2-1 scoreline.
After a goalless 1st-half, Jelly Man Joe Aribo scored in the 49th minute to give the home faithful hopes of a win.
Those hopes were quickly dashed when Conor Coady and Dwight McNeil scored within 5 minutes of Joe’s opener and with no further goals, Everton took home the points.
The score was the same at Goodison Park later on in the campaign, with Southampton gaining the away day victory by the same 2-1 scoreline.
Betfred offer Southampton at 8/5, the Draw at 23/10 and 6/4 for Everton to come away with all 3-points.
Betfred offer 8/1 that Dwight McNeil Scores First and 12/5 that Everton Score in Both Halves.

WOLVES v CRYSTAL PALACE
17.30 in England
Sky Sports
Wolves unbelievably came from 2 goals down to earn a point from a draw by a 2-2 score against Brighton on Saturday.
Rayan Ait-Nouri scored in the 88th minute to halve the deficit before Matheus Cunha scored the late equaliser in the 93rd minute to snatch a draw from the jaws of defeat.
There was a moment just before Matheus scored when Brighton broke through and had 4 players against 1 Wolves man, Tommy Doyle.
The Seagull players could have done anything, run the ball into the corner, kick it into Row Z but remarkably passed the ball across the back line which Tommy intercepted and quickly knocked the ball forward to Matheus who scored the vital equalising goal.
It was a brilliant comeback from Gary O’Neil’s Gold and Blacks who now sit in 19th place with 2 points from 9 games completed.
Despite Oliver Glasner having a brilliant start to his career at Selhurst Park and a great end to last season, Crystal Palace have not won any of the opening 8 fixtures this term and pressure is now on the Austrian.
There are rumours that David Moyes is being lined up to replace Oliver, which could happen in the next International Break which comes up in a couple of weeks.
Watch this space.
That said, the losing streak ended on Sunday with Palace gaining a victory over Tottenham at Selhurst Park by a 1-0 scoreline.
Jean-Philippe Mateta with the solitary winner, midway through the 1st-half.
The win leaves Crystal Palace in 17th place with 6 points from the 9 games played.
It also leaves David Moyes hanging onto his mobile phone waiting for a call from the Eagles hierarchy.
In last season’s fixture between these two teams at Molineux, Oliver Glasner’s Palace team gained the away win over Gary O’Neils Wolves by a 3-1 score.
The game was the penultimate match of the campaign, with goals from Michael Olise, Jean-Philippe Mateta and Eberechi Eze giving the Eagles all 3 points.
Matheus Cunha scored for Wolves when the score was 0-2 in favour of Palace.
Betfred offer Wolves at 7/4, the Draw at 11/5 and 6/4 for Crystal Palace to come away with all 3-points.
Betfred offer 8/5 that Jorgan Strand-Larsen Scores Anytime and 21/10 that Jean-Philippe Mateta Scores Anytime.

Sunday 03rd
TOTTENHAM v ASTON VILLA
14.00 in England
Sky Sports
Tottenham are a strange team, there’s long been a saying about the team that is referred to as ‘Spursy’ which basically means that Spurs are a bit flakey.
John Newsome offered up the following,
‘Tottenham play like Real Madrid one week, then play like Ryhill Baghdad the next!’
After destroying West Ham the week before, Tottenham suffered a defeat against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Sunday.
Ange’s Spurs conceded a goal on the half-hour mark that ultimately was the only goal of the game, meaning Tottenham lost by a 1-0 away day score.
The defeat leaves Tottenham in 8th place with the same 13 points as Brentford from the opening 9 games played.
The LilyWhites will be hoping that it’s Real Madrid that turns up on Sunday and not Ryhill Baghdad.
It was almost 12 months ago to the day when Aston Villa last ventured South to the Chas and Dave Memorial Stadium to take on Tottenham.
The fixture took place on the 26th of November 2023, with Giovani Lo Celso scoring the opener for Tottenham in the 26th minute.
Pau Torres scored an equaliser in the 7th minute of the 1st-half added injury time to take both teams in level at the interval.
Ollie Watkins scored on the hour mark and with no further goals, Villa held on for the away day victory by a 2-1 score.
Betfred offer Tottenham at slight Odds On 5/6, the Draw at 3/1 and 5/2 for Aston Villa to come away with all 3-points.
Betfred offer 13/8 that Dominic Solanke Scores Anytime and 13/5 that Jhon Duran Scores Anytime.

MANCHESTER UNITED v CHELSEA
16.30 in England
Sky Sports
Not a bad game for a late Sunday Afternoon before it’s bath time and Bullseye.
Back in the day, before the Premier League era, there weren’t many live football games on television and certainly none on a Sunday Afternoon.
It was usually just a couple of England Internationals and the FA Cup Final throughout the year with the rest being highlights shown on Match Of The Day.
A late Sunday Afternoon in the Winter, when it was dark outside at 4 PM, usually meant an early bath ready for school the next day, trying to record the Top 40 on a Tape Recorder and watching Bullseye, to see if 2 ‘Fat Blokes’ from Barnsley could win a Speedboat.
Erik and Enzo will be hoping that one of them lands the Top Prize today because ‘there’s nothing in this game for 2 in a bed’.
************BREAKING NEWS************
Whilst writing this Preview on Monday Morning, the inevitable news came through that Erik Ten Hag had been sacked by the Manchester United hierarchy.
It’s thought that the Glazer’s, Ineos, Sir Jim Ratcliffe and the rest of the Bosses at Old Trafford were all in agreement that Erik should be gone after the defeat against West Ham on Sunday.
If one has read this column regularly, then it’s well known that it’s been thought Erik Ten Hag was on borrowed time in the Manchester United Manager’s hot seat.
John Newsome did assume that Gareth Southgate would be appointed as the New Manager, however, Gareth has stated that he doesn’t want to work for the next 12 months at least.
Which is fair enough.
The timing does seem strange as most thought that Erik should have gone at the end of last season, however, the FA Cup victory sort of gave ETH a stay of execution but it was always a case of ‘when’ not ‘if’ and whether it was today, tomorrow or in November, it was always going to happen.
The only way Erik could continue is if Manchester United won and won most games.
That hasn’t happened and as mentioned a couple of weeks ago,
(The following is taken from this EveryTip column published on October 15th!)
‘The saga will go on until Erik Ten Hag is no longer the Manager, which will be sooner rather than later.
Remember, Manchester United sit in 14th (14th!) place in the table, not in the Top Six where the argument to keep the Dutchman would be stronger.
Taking the words ‘Manchester United’ out of the sentence, not many of the hierarchy at a club that has 3 Losses, 2 Draws with just 2 Wins in 7 Premier League games, scoring just 5 goals and have spent a fortune on Transfers, would be happy with their current Manager and would be at least, at least having a conversation about getting rid.
The Old Trafford hierarchy is no different.
Whilst John Newsome was of the opinion that Gareth Southgate would become the next Manager, Gareth has recently stated that he is having a year off after the England job.
Which is fair enough, however, what does that mean for Manchester United?
Do the Ineos Group and Sir Jim Ratcliffe chalk this season off and allow Erik to continue until Mr Southgate is ready?
Or move away from Gareth and find someone else?
The problem then is, who is available and who would be suitable?
There are a ton of folk who would take the position, Poison Challis or not, however, there aren’t many of quality.
United need to get the next appointment right, otherwise, the same scenario will continue.’
Whilst it was always thought that Erik Ten Bob was a Dead Man Walking it’s now a question as to who will be the next Manager.
Ruud Van Nistelrooy has been appointed as the Interim Manager for the next few games, which, if one peruses over the next 4 United fixtures, are favourable.
Home- Leicester (Carabao Cup)
Home- Chelsea (Premier League)
Home- PAOK (Europa League)
Home- Leicester (Premier League)
After that and the International Break, there’s Ipswich Away.
Whether the United hierarchy now have someone lined up or are going to see how Ruud gets on is for the future but for the time being, Erik is at the Manchester Job Centre, being the first Premier League Manager of the season to be sacked, which could just start a Domino Effect.
A few other Managers might just be looking over their shoulders.
It’s thought that the Sporting Gaffer Ruben Amorim has accepted the job to be the next Manchester United Manager.
Erik Ten Hag did lose his job after the defeat against West Ham at the London Stadium on Sunday, however, whilst it was a defeat by a 2-1 scoreline, there were some strange moments that went off in the game.
Alejandro Garnacho should have scored in the 1st-half but smashed the ball against the crossbar.
Bruno Fernandes missed a chance to score with a header.
Then Diogo Dalot missed an open goal, kicking the ball over the bar when it was easier to score.
Despite Casemiro scoring an equaliser, there was still time for a late bit of drama when Matthijs De Ligt got in a tangle with Danny Ings and despite the on-field referee David Coote waving play on, the dreaded VAR got busy and asked David to look at the pitch side monitor.
Even after looking at the monitor, David wasn’t convinced but had Michael Oliver, who is considered the Number One referee, in his ear saying,
‘PENALTY, all day long Cooty!’
So it’s felt that Mr Coote was overruled and had to award the spot-kick when really Dave should have stuck to his guns and said,
‘NO, Micky!’
It wasn’t a penalty but regardless of opinions by most people, David Coote pointed to the spot, which allowed West Ham to score the late winner.
The defeat leaves United in 14th place with the same 11 points as West Ham and now sees Erik Ten Hag down the concrete.
Chelsea gained the home victory over Newcastle at Stamford Bridge on Saturday, with an inspired performance from Cole Palmer giving Enzo Maresca’s Blues the points from Eddie Howe’s Magpies.
Cole gave a brilliant through ball to Pedro Neto who crossed for Nicolas Jackson to score the opener.
The stats will say that it was Pedro’s ‘assist’ which it was, however, the initial pass from CP was sublime.
Newcastle did equalise to make the scores level at the interval but Chelsea came out stronger after the break and Cole capped off a brilliant display by scoring within a minute of the restart which ultimately turned out to be the winner.
The victory by a 2-1 scoreline leaves Chelsea in 5th place with 17 points from the opening 9 fixtures played.
In last season’s encounter between Erik’s Reds and Mauricio’s Blues at Old Trafford, it was Manchester United that gained the home victory over Chelsea.
Scott McTominay, scored twice, once in each half, either side of a Cole Palmer goal, to give United the win by a 2-1 scoreline.
Bruno Fernandes did miss a penalty in the 9th minute of the game, having his tame spot-kick saved by Robert Sanchez.
Cole scored a hat-trick in the reverse fixture at Stamford Bridge later on in the season, which earned Chelsea the victory from a 4-3 score.
There should be goals this afternoon, however, be careful of the ‘New Manager Bounce!’
Betfred offer Manchester United at 6/4, the Draw at 13/5 and 6/4 for Chelsea to come away with all 3-points.
Betfred offer 9/5 that Rasmus Hojlund Scores Anytime and 7/5 that Cole Palmer Scores Anytime.

FULHAM v BRENTFORD

A West London Derby to round off Game Week-10.
It did appear that Fulham had gained a great away night victory against Everton at Goodison Park on Saturday.
The ex-Toffee Alex Iwobi scored for the Cottagers midway through the 2nd-half and with time running out, it looked like 3 points were in the bag for the Coach Trip home.
However, Everton scored an equaliser in the 94th minute to give both teams a share of the spoils from a draw by a 1-1 score.
Alex did score a great goal but to be fair to the lad, didn’t overly celebrate in front of the Toffee Rappers.
Fulham sit in 10th place with the same 12 points as Bournemouth and Newcastle from the opening 9 games played.
Brentford played in a very entertaining game against Ipswich at the GTech Stadium on Saturday.
Goals from Yoane Wissa, an Ipswich OG (which should have been given to Yoane also) and a couple from Bryan Mbeumo (1 being a penalty) gave Thomas Frank’s Bees the victory over Kieran McKenna’s Tractor Boys by a 4-3 scoreline.
Bryan scored his 2nd and the ultimate winner in the 96th minute to earn Brentford all 3 points.
Despite the win, Thomas wasn’t happy with conceding 3 and although a bit of a setback, was no doubt a great watch for the fans in attendance.
Brentford sit in 9th place with the same 13 points as Tottenham from the initial 9 games completed.
It was Brentford that gained the West London bragging rights from last season’s fixture against Fulham at Craven Cottage.
A 1st-half goal from Yoane Wissa, plus 2 Bryan Mbeumo strikes after the break gave Thomas’s Bees the victory from a 3-0 scoreline.
Betfred offer Fulham at slight Odds On 19/20, the Draw at 5/2 and 5/2 for Brentford to come away with all 3-points.
Betfred offer 7/5 that Raul Jimenez Scores Anytime and 5/1 that Bryan Mbeumo Scores First.

Celtic and Aberdeen stay in 1 and 2 positions in the Scottish Premier League following the Game Week-9 fixtures.
Celtic got the victory over Motherwell (who?) by a 3-0 away day score, to record 25 points from 8 victories and a draw.
Aberdeen matched that following another narrow victory over Dundee United (who?) by a 1-0 scoreline to stay 2nd on goal difference with both remaining unbeaten.
Rangers are clinging on to 3rd place with 19 points from the opening 9 games, 6 Wins, a Draw and 2 Losses.
The latest victory came against St Mirren (who?) by a 2-1 scoreline.
St Mirren? Is that Helen’s dad?
The Teddy Bears are fighting off Dundee United (who?) for the right to stay in 3rd place behind the Green and White Hoops and the Dandy Dons.
Now 4 points ahead of United.
Apparently, Braveheart/Kylie got bitten by an Australian Spider and was in Intensive Care for a couple of days.
Peter Parker was straight on the phone with the loveable OzScot asking if his experience was needed.
The confused ex-Scot did enquire to Peter asking which one he was.
Nicholas Hammond?
Toby Maguire?
Andrew Garfield?
Tom Holland?
‘Andrew, it’s definitely the Andrew one!’
Then Braveheart/Kylie went off to try and spin a web in front of the Rangers goal.
‘Need more than that lad!’
Shouted the Teddy Bears faithful!
