Where the extra place helps most
Each way value is best on bigger-priced runners. GEORGE WICKHAM at a forecast 13/2 in the 15:49 at Salisbury and CRIMSON ROAD at 11/2 in the 16:18 at Nottingham are the two Dark Horses picks where an extra place adds most. In Ireland, both Clonmel races pay 5 places, with IL SILENZIO (11/2) and TECHNOLOGY (5/1) our picks.
Today’s money back if 2nd race is the 13:58 at Nottingham, where our value pick is DONNA BEAUTY.
How it works
- Back your horse each way in one of the races above.
- If it finishes in one of the extra places, Betfred pays the place part at 1/5 odds.
Key terms
- New and existing verified customers. Each way singles or each way multiples. Antepost bets excluded.
- Runner minimums: 3 places needs 7 or more runners, 4 places needs 12 or more, and 5 places needs 16 or more (otherwise 4 places are paid). Below that, normal place terms apply. Dead heat rules apply.
