Chelsea made it through to the Club World Cup Final following a convincing victory over Fluminense.
The new signing Joao Pedro, who had made an appearance as a substitute in the Quarter-Final, was given a start and a full debut by Enzo Maresca and didn’t disappoint scoring both goals in the win over the Brazilians by a 2-0 scoreline.
Chelsea are looking good at the moment and this Club World Cup, which although hasn’t been the best of tournaments, has seen the Blues gel together especially the new signings of Liam Delap and Joao Pedro.
There’s also Jamie Gittens to come in for the start of the new Premier League season.
That’s not to say, Chelsea will win the Premier League title but the Blues will be there or thereabouts come the business end next May.
Paris Saint-Germain smashed Real Madrid in the other Semi-Final with PSG getting a victory over Los Blancos by a 4-0 scoreline.
Fabian Ruiz scored 1 and 3 with Ousmane Dembele scoring in between the 2 to give Paris a comfortable lead at the break.
Real Madrid were never in the game with just 2 shots on target and the tie was put to bed in the 87th minute when Goncalo Ramos scored to make it 4-0.
The Manager of PSG is the ex-Barcelona star Luis Enrique who is one of a few who also turned out for Real Madrid so would have had mixed emotions about the Win against the Men in White.
