Game Week-12
Saturday 23rd
LEICESTER v CHELSEA
12.30 in England
TNT Sport
The Enzo Maresca Derby.
The ex-Foxes Boss Enzo takes his New Blues to the King Power Stadium for this early Saturday Afternoon Kickoff to restart the Premier League after the International Break.
Leicester suffered a defeat against a Ruud Van Nistelrooy-inspired Manchester United team last time out.
After being knocked out of the Carabao Cup by the Red Devils, the Foxes were looking for revenge, however, Steve Cooper’s men were soundly beaten by Ruud’s Reds from a 3-0 scoreline.
The unfortunate Victor Kristiansen was credited with an own goal for United’s 2nd.
It’s worth mentioning that the Sheffield Superstar Jamie Vardy didn’t feature against United, picking up an injury that ruled the lad out.
Jamie is 38 in January but despite the ‘backache’ probably gained from picking up all the kids, is still doing the business in the Promised Land and if managed correctly, could play in the Premier League when the lad has turned 40.
Leicester sit in 15th place with the same 10 points as Everton from the initial 11 games before the interval.
Chelsea’s last outing before the International Break, saw Enzo’s Blues gain a point from a draw by a 1-1 score, against Mikel’s Young Guns at Stamford Bridge.
After conceding an Arsenal goal on the hour mark, Pedro Neto scored a brilliant equaliser 10 minutes later and with no further goals, both teams shared the points.
Chelsea sit in 3rd place with the same 19 points as Arsenal, Nottingham Forest and Brighton.
It’s now the Premier League all the way until January the 4th, which is the weekend of Game Week-20, before the 3rd-Round of the FA Cup which comes up just before Game Week-21.
It was Graham Potter who was in charge of Chelsea when Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester team last hosted the West London Blues back in March 2023.
Ben Chilwell and Kai Havertz scored the Chelsea goals in the 1st-half, with Ben’s initial goal equalised by Patson Daka before Kai scored on the stroke of half-time to give the visitors a lead at the interval.
Mateo Kovacic added a 3rd for Chelsea midway through the 2nd-half to give the Travelling Blues the victory over the Foxes by a 3-1 scoreline.
Wout Faes was shown a Yellow Card in both halves, with the subsequent Red in the 87th minute meaning Wout would beat his mates into the showers.
Leicester ultimately finished in 18th place and were relegated with Chelsea finishing 12th.
Both Brendan and Graham didn’t see the season out, coincidentally being sacked on the same day in April 2023 and ending up helping each other fill in a Job Seekers Allowance form.
Betfred offer Leicester at 9/2, the Draw at 16/5 and Odds On 1/2 for Chelsea to come away with all 3-points.
Betfred offer 4/1 that Cole Palmer Scores First and 21/20 that Chelsea Score in Both Halves.
(If your pre-match First Goalscorer bet scores First and then scores a Second, Betfred DOUBLE the odds.
If they score a Third, Betfred TREBLE the odds.)

BOURNEMOUTH v BRIGHTON
15.00 in England
This fixture is classed as a South Coast Derby, however, there are almost 100 miles between the two clubs, so one wouldn’t like to walk to the game.
Bournemouth suffered a narrow defeat last time out, suffering the loss against Brentford at the GTech Stadium by a 3-2 scoreline.
Evanilson and Justin Kluivert with the Cherries goals, both scored to give Bournemouth a lead, however, Brentford equalised both and then scored the winner to gain the home victory.
Bournemouth are now in 12th place with the same 15 points as Manchester United after 11 games completed.
Brighton gained a brilliant home win over Man City at the Amex before the International Break.
After conceding a City goal and trailing at the interval, Fabian Hurzeler got into his Seagulls boys in the dressing room, who then came out and scored twice in the 2nd-half to gain the victory by a 2-1 scoreline.
Joao Pedro and Matt O’Riley with the Brighton goals.
Matt, despite having an iconic Irish Name, was born in England but represents Denmark at International level.
The legendary Watford player Troy Deeney was on a Podcast recently and stated that his ex-Hornets teammate Joao Pedro is a Top Class player and will go on to play for a Champions League club.
Manchester United or Man City wouldn’t go far wrong by making a cheeky enquiry about the Brazilian, especially considering that United now have the Portuguese Ruben Amorim as the Manager and Joao, who as a Brazilian, speaks Portuguese.
Brighton sit in 6th place with the same 19 points as Nottingham Forest, Arsenal and Chelsea, sat below the other 3 purely on goal difference.
In last season’s encounter at the Vitality, it was the Cherries who gained the home victory over the Seagulls.
Goals from Marcos Senesi, Enes Unal and Justin Kluivert gave Andoni’s Bournemouth the win over Roberto’s Brighton by a 3-0 scoreline.
Betfred offer Bournemouth at 13/10, the Draw at 5/2 and 9/5 for Brighton to come away with all 3-points.
Betfred offer 6/1 that Evanilson Scores First and 11/8 that there are Over 3.5 Goals.
(If your pre-match First Goalscorer bet scores First and then scores a Second, Betfred DOUBLE the odds.
If they score a Third, Betfred TREBLE the odds.)

ARSENAL v NOTTINGHAM FOREST
15.00 in England
If one was to say a few weeks ago that when Arsenal host Nottingham Forest at the Emirates after the International Break, both would sit in the Top 5 and both would have 19 points from the opening 11 games, then not many would have believed it.
Chelsea and Brighton have 19 points too and bookend the Gunners and the Tricky Trees in 3rd and 6th place respectively.
Arsenal gained a point from a draw by a 1-1 score against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge last time out.
Gabriel Martinelli scored the opener on the hour mark but despite taking the lead, Chelsea equalised soon after to give both a share of the points.
Arsenal sit 4th and Forest sit 5th.
That somehow is the case after the opening 11 games.
The Gunners, plus the Seagulls, the Blues and today’s visitors are all 4 points adrift of Man City, however, all are now 9 points behind Liverpool at the summit.
Nine points is the equivalent of 3 Wins, which does mean that Liverpool would have to lose 3 games, plus any of the 4 to win 3 games more than Arne’s Slot Machines, to join Liverpool at the top.
Nottingham Forest head South to the Emirates following a defeat against Newcastle before the Break.
The Big Centre-Back Murillo did score the first goal, however, Forest then conceded 3 to ultimately suffer the loss against the Magpies by a 3-1 scoreline.
It was a bit of a setback following 4 unbeaten games (3 Wins and a Draw) which does mean that Nuno Espírito Santo needs to reset his Tricky Trees and go again.
At the Emirates last season, the fixture was the opening game of the 2023/24 campaign, with Steve Cooper still in charge of the Tricky Trees.
It was Mikel Arteta’s Young Guns that gained the first victory of the season with goals from Eddie Nketiah and Bukayo Saka, both scored in the 1st-half, giving Arsenal the win by a 2-1 scoreline.
Taiwo Awoniyi scored the Forest goal after the break, which ultimately turned out to be just a consolation.
Betfred offer Arsenal at Odds On 3/10, the Draw at 4/1 and 17/2 for Nottingham Forest to come away with all 3-points.
Betfred offer 5/1 that Kai Havertz Scores First and 4/1 that Chris Wood Scores Anytime.
(If your pre-match First Goalscorer bet scores First and then scores a Second, Betfred DOUBLE the odds.
If they score a Third, Betfred TREBLE the odds.)

ASTON VILLA v CRYSTAL PALACE
15.00 in England
Aston Villa have lost the last 4 games in all competitions, 1 in the Carabao Cup, 1 in the Champions League and 2 Premier League games, the latest being against Liverpool before the International Break.
Despite putting in a good performance at Anfield, it was the home team that gained the victory over Unai’s Claret and Blues by a 2-0 score.
Aston Villa sit in 9th place with the same 18 points as Newcastle and Fulham.
There was a funny moment in the Champions League game against Club Brugge when Tyrone Mings, who was thrown in by Unai Emery after being injured for a long time, suddenly picked the ball up in the area.
It was a moment of madness by the Big Defender that resulted in a penalty to Brugge, which ultimately cost Villa the game, suffering a defeat against the Belgians by a 1-0 (Tyrone Mings Handball) score.
What has happened to the Eagles (not the ones who sang Hotel California) but Crystal Palace?
Palace suffered their 6th loss of the campaign before the International Break, this time against Fulham at Selhurst Park, with the Cottagers gaining the victory by a 2-0 away day score.
At the moment, Oliver Glasner is still the Manager, however, the question remains,
‘For how much longer?’
It’s reported that David Moyes is waiting for a phone call from the Palace hierarchy.
Watch this space!
Crystal Palace dropped into the relegation zone after Game Week-11, sitting in 18th place with 7 points from the opening 11 games.
Aston Villa gained the home victory over Crystal Palace last season.
After a goalless 1st-half, Odsonne Edouard opened the scoring for Palace within 2 minutes of the restart.
Jhon Duran equalised in the 87th minute, with Douglas Luiz scoring in the 98th.
However, that wasn’t the end of the goals as Leon Bailey scored a 3rd for Villa in the 101st minute to give the home team the win by a 3-1 scoreline.
The two have recently met at Villa Park in the last-16 of the Carabao Cup with Crystal Palace surprisingly progressing to the Quarter-Final following a victory by a 2-1 score, despite being rubbish in the Premier League.
Maybe Oliver Glasner’s credit, earned from last season’s finish, could just take him until the Carabao Cup run ends and as Palace face Arsenal at the Emirates on the 18th of December, Oliver might become one of Santa’s Little Helpers instead of the Eagles Boss, if the Gunners get the victory.
Betfred offer Aston Villa at Odds On 8/15, the Draw at 3/1 and 9/2 for Crystal Palace to come away with all 3-points.
Betfred offer 4/1 that Ollie Watkins Scores First and 13/10 that Aston Villa Score in Both Halves.
(If your pre-match First Goalscorer bet scores First and then scores a Second, Betfred DOUBLE the odds.
If they score a Third, Betfred TREBLE the odds.)

EVERTON v BRENTFORD
15.00 in England
Everton are now winless in 3, following the stalemate last time out against West Ham.
Both teams shared the points from a goalless draw at the London Stadium with neither team inspiring the watching faithful.
Prior to that game against the Hammers, the Toffees had lost one and drew one, meaning just 2 points from a possible 9.
Everton remain in 16th place with the same 10 points as Leicester from the initial 11 fixtures completed.
Brentford gained a great victory over Bournemouth last time out, with Thomas’s Bees inflicting a defeat on Andoni’s Cherries by a narrow 3-2 scoreline.
Yoane Wissa, scored twice, with Mikkel Damsgaard getting the other in between Yoane’s goals to give the home team the win.
Brentford moved up to 11th in the table with the same 16 points as Tottenham, both having played 11 times.
In last season’s encounter between Sean’s Toffees and Thomas’s Bees at Goodison Park, a single Idrissa Gueye goal scored on the hour mark, gave Everton the victory over Brentford by a 1-0 score.
Betfred offer Everton at 13/10, the Draw at 23/10 and 15/8 for Brentford to come away with all 3-points.
Betfred offer 2/1 that Dominic Calvert-Lewin Scores Anytime and 13/2 that Bryan Mbeumo Scores First.
(If your pre-match First Goalscorer bet scores First and then scores a Second, Betfred DOUBLE the odds.
If they score a Third, Betfred TREBLE the odds.)

FULHAM v WOLVES
15.00 in England
Fulham are unbeaten in 3, with 2 Wins and a draw following the victory over Crystal Palace before the International Break.
That followed a win against Brentford and a draw against Everton in the previous 2 games.
Emile Smith-Rowe and Harry Wilson scored the Fulham goals against Palace at Selhurst Park to give Marco’s Cottagers the points from a 2-0 away day score.
Fulham sit in 7th place with the same 18 points as Newcastle and Aston Villa, all having played 11 games.
Wolves finally gained a victory from the opening 11 games, following 7 Losses and 3 Draws.
The win came against Southampton in the relegation 6-pointer at Molineux last time out, with Gary O’Neils Gold and Blacks getting the points from a 2-0 scoreline.
Pablo Sarabia and Matheus Cunha with the Wolves goals, one in each half.
To explain the ‘6 pointer’ reference which does come up from time to time in this EveryTip column.
Wolves had 3 points and took on Southampton who had 4, with only one of the teams able to gain 3 points.
As Wolves won, they also prevented Southampton from winning, therefore Wolves gained 3 points and Southampton didn’t, meaning 3 points gained plus 3 points that weren’t, giving the ‘proverbial 6 pointer.’
Wolves jump a place to 19th with 6 points following the Game Week-11 victory over Southampton, who now sit at the bottom.
Fulham gained a victory over Wolves at Craven Cottage last season.
In a 5-goal thriller, goals from Fulham’s Alex Iwobi and Wolves’ Matheus Cunha took both teams in level at the break.
Willian scored a penalty just before the hour mark which was again equalised by a Hwang Hee-Chan goal after 75 minutes.
When it appeared that a draw was on the cards, Fulham were awarded a 2nd penalty in the 94th minute and as Willian was still on the pitch, it was left to the Brazilian to take the spot-kick which was coolly converted to give Marco’s Cottagers the victory over Gary’s Gold and Blacks by a 3-2 scoreline.
Betfred offer Fulham at Odds On 8/13, the Draw at 11/4 and 4/1 for Wolves to come away with all 3-points.
Betfred offer 5/1 that Raul Jimenez Scores First and 11/4 that Matheus Cunha Scores Anytime.
(If your pre-match First Goalscorer bet scores First and then scores a Second, Betfred DOUBLE the odds.
If they score a Third, Betfred TREBLE the odds.)

MAN CITY v TOTTENHAM
17.30 in England
Sky Sports
Man City are in the process of changing their name to ‘Lost 2-1 Again!’
With 3 of the last 4 games resulting in a defeat by a 2-1 scoreline.
Added to that there was a 4th loss by a 4-1 score.
In the fixture last time out, City suffered an away day defeat against Brighton at the Amex by the said ‘2-1’ score.
Erling Haaland did score first to give the away team a lead at the interval, however, the Seagulls scored twice in the 2nd-half to inflict the loss on Pep’s Blues.
Erling then scored 4 times in the 2 recent games for Norway.
A hat-trick against Kazakhstan and a single strike against Slovenia.
Pep Guardiola hasn’t experienced 4 straight losses whilst in charge of City so the International Break did come at the right time for the Spaniard and his very Low Flying Blues.
When a team loses 4 games in a row, there aren’t many positives to take away, however, the only slight glimmer of optimism the Citizens have from the defeats is they were all away from the Etihad.
A lot have been scratching their heads as to why Man City have hit a slump but there really are a lot of reasons as to why City are losing, it’s not just a phase, or being unlucky.
The main reason is Rodri.
Man City are just not the same without the Spaniard.
The other reasons are and in no particular order, Kevin De Bruyne not being fully fit, given just 6 minutes against Sporting when the score was 4-1 and 17 minutes against Brighton, although City were in front when KDB came on.
Jack Grealish missing, Jeremy Doku missing, Ruben Dias missing and John Stones missing.
Pep has chucked in Savinho, who at the moment, isn’t good enough to regularly turn out for a team that are Premier League Champions.
Neither is Matheus Nunes.
The youngster Jahmai Simpson-Pusey has been thrown in at the deep end and at the moment, is still in his Pyjamas.
If one is unsure what that reference means, back in the day, School kids had to dive into the Swimming Pool in their Pyjamas and pick up a brick from the bottom, to try and gain a Life Saving Award.
Manuel Akanji and Nathan Ake were both benched after the Sporting and Bournemouth games respectively, whether injured or for tactical reasons.
So whilst it is 4 straight losses, there are mitigating circumstances that have seen Man City underperform and suffer the defeats.
As mentioned, the International Break has just come at the right time for everyone connected with the Etihad outfit.
That said, bizarrely Kyle Walker and Rico Lewis were included in Lee Carsley’s final England Squad along with Jack Grealish and Phil Foden, however, subsequently Jack and Phil did return to Manchester and got some rest.
Whilst having no allegiance to Man City, John Newsome just thinks that none of these 4 players needed to play for England, none needed to travel over to Greece, yet Kyle and Rico did and started the game in Athens.
These players should have been given time off, along with the players who play for other International Teams.
Harry Kane wasn’t happy with some of the players dropping out but let’s put this into context.
The Nations League is a glorified friendly tournament, the FA (Football Association) have appointed Thomas Tuchel but told the German that he doesn’t start until January 1st, 2025, thus TT had no involvement in the 2 England games against Greece and the Republic of Ireland.
So why should the players, who need a break to heal some injuries and rest tired bodies, be bothered about going over to Greece for a ‘friendly!’
Some will state that,
‘These players are on £300,000 a week!’
Or whatever but the amount of money one earns doesn’t correlate with having a body that needs rest and recovery.
Rico Lewis is only 20 and can handle the excesses of playing, however, his teammate, Kyle Walker, is 34, now coming into the twilight of his career, so KW could easily be excused for needing a rest.
That said, Kyle played the full 90 minutes against Greece last Thursday, then a further 62 minutes against the Republic of Ireland on Sunday.
Rico got 90 minutes too in Athens but stayed on the bench at Wembley, which gives Pep conflicting opinions about the England outings.
Would it have been better for Man City if Kyle and Rico just played against Greece, then both omitted from the Ireland game?
If one is unaware of Rico’s background, the lad is the Son of a Martial Arts expert, with Young Mr Lewis, also being a Martial Artist, as fit as anyone around.
Plus, don’t mess with Rico, because when he says,
‘I’ll fetch my Dad!’
Get ready!
Man City stayed in 2nd place with 23 points, now 5 points adrift of Liverpool at the summit.
It was mooted a couple of weeks ago that Tottenham either play like Real Madrid, as in the games against Manchester United and Aston Villa, or like Ryhill Baghdad, with displays like the ones against Arsenal and Crystal Palace.
In last week’s game against Galatasaray in the Europa League, Ange’s Alter Egos Ryhill Baghdad were on show, suffering a defeat by a 3-2 scoreline, which in truth, could have easily been 13-2.
It was then the same set of players that gained the brilliant victory over Aston Villa the week before that took on Ipswich on Sunday, however, the intensity, passion and energy, wasn’t there and Ange’s Spurs team, aka Ryhill Baghdad, suffered a home defeat against Ipswich at the Chas and Dave Memorial Stadium.
The loss against the Tractor Boys by a 2-1 scoreline, did see Rodrigo Bentancur notch for the LilyWhites, however, Rodrigo won’t be available today, as the Uruguayan has been banned for 7 games due to an ill-advised comment made about Son Heung-Min, which was classed as a Racial Slur.
Tottenham slipped to 10th place, now with the same 16 points as Brentford from the opening 11 games completed.
At the Etihad last season, both teams shared the points from a draw by a 3-3 score, with the goals going in as follows,
6′ Son Heung-Min (Tottenham 0-1)
9′ Son Heung-Min OG (Man City 1-1)
31′ Phil Foden ( Man City 2-1)
Half-Time Lamb Hot Pot.
69′ Giovani Lo Celso (Tottenham 2-2)
81′ Jack Grealish (Man City 3-2)
90′ Dejan Kulusevski (Tottenham 3-3)
Full-Time Pint of Boddingtons.
These two met at the Chas and Dave Memorial Stadium in the Carabao Cup, where ‘Lost 2-1 Again!’ did indeed suffer a defeat against Tottenham by a 2-1 scoreline.
Betfred offer Man City at Odds On 1/2, the Draw at 7/2 and 9/2 for Tottenham to come away with all 3-points.
Betfred offer 3/1 that Erling Haaland Scores First and slight Odds On 10/11 that there are Over 3.5 Goals.
(If your pre-match First Goalscorer bet scores First and then scores a Second, Betfred DOUBLE the odds.
If they score a Third, Betfred TREBLE the odds.)

Sunday 24th
SOUTHAMPTON v LIVERPOOL
14.00 in England
Sky Sports
Southampton suffered their 9th loss of the campaign from the 11 games completed, against Wolves last time out.
This time by a 2-0 away day score.
The Saints are now sat at the foot of the table, with 4 points, following last Saturday’s defeat against Wolves at Molineux.
Amazingly though, Russell Martin is still in a job.
There should be goals today, mostly going into the Saints net.
Liverpool gained a brilliant victory over Aston Villa before the International Break.
Darwin Nunez and Mohamed Salah with the Reds goals to give Arne’s Slot Machines the points from a 2-0 scoreline.
A quick point about Darwin, the commentators on TV seem to pronounce the surname as ‘Nuniez’ but there isn’t an ‘i’ after the ‘n’ so it’s Nunez, not Nuniez.
Liverpool increased their lead at the summit of the Premier League Table, now with 28 points from 11 games so far, 5 points ahead of Man City.
In the Premier League era, there have been 5 occasions where a team have been 5 plus points ahead of the nearest rival after 11 games.
Manchester United (7 clear in 1993/94), Chelsea (6 clear in 2005/06), Man City (5 points ahead in 2011/12 and 8 points clear in 2017/18) and Liverpool (6 points clear in 2019/20).
All 5 went on to win the Premier League.
Can Arne’s Slot Machines become the 6th?
When these two teams last met at St Mary’s, the fixture was the final game of the 2022/23 season, where an already relegated Southampton team, under the guidance of Ruben Selles, somehow managed a draw against Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool by a sensational 4-4 score.
The goals going in as follows,
10′ Diogo Jota (Liverpool 0-1)
14′ Roberto Firmino (Liverpool 0-2)
19′ James Ward-Prowse (Soton 1-2)
28′ Kamaldeen Sulemana (Soton 2-2)
Half-Time Meat and Potato Pie.
48′ Kamaldeen Sulemana (Soton 3-2)
64′ Adam Armstrong (Soton 4-2)
72′ Coady Gakpo (Liverpool 4-3)
73′ Diogo Jota (Liverpool 4-4)
Full-Time Baileys and Lucozade.
Southampton finished bottom of the table and were then relegated, whilst Liverpool finished in 5th place.
Betfred offer Southampton at 8/1, the Draw at 4/1 and Odds On 2/7 for Liverpool to come away with all 3-points.
Betfred offer 7/2 that Mo Salah Scores First and 5/4 that Liverpool Win To Nil.
(If your pre-match First Goalscorer bet scores First and then scores a Second, Betfred DOUBLE the odds.

IPSWICH v MANCHESTER UNITED
16.30 in England
Sky Sports
Ipswich finally gained a victory in the 11th attempt of asking following promotion in May.
After 5 Draws and 5 Losses, Kieran McKenna’s Tractor Boys gained an away win over Ange Postecoglou’s Spurs team at the Chas and Dave Memorial Stadium.
Goals from Sammie Szmodics and Liam Delap gave Ipswich the points from a 2-1 scoreline, with Tottenham scoring a goal midway through the 2nd-half.
Ipswich sit in 17th place with 8 points from the opening 11 games played.
Kieran will want to build on the success, however, comes up against his old team Manchester United, who have turned a corner in the recent games under the temporary Gaffer Ruud Van Nistelrooy.
This will be Ruben Amorim’s introduction to the Premier League.
United gained a victory over Leicester in the fixture before the International Break, with goals from Bruno Fernandes, a Leicester OG and a Alejandro Garnacho strike giving the Red Devils the points from a 3-0 scoreline.
Manchester United stay in 13th place but now have the same 15 points as Bournemouth after all of the Game Week-11 fixtures.
The last time Manchester United headed East to face Ipswich at Portman Rd, was the penultimate fixture of the 2001/02 season where a Sir Alex Ferguson-led United gained the victory over George Burley’s Tractor Boys by a 1-0 away day score.
The recent Interim Manager Ruud Van Nistelrooy (Tra-La-La-La-Lar) scored the only goal of the game, converting a penalty on the stroke of half-time.
United finished 3rd in that particular campaign, with Ipswich finishing 18th and eventually relegated.
The strange thing about the fact that Ipswich were relegated was that the Tractors Boys qualified for Europe via the ‘Fair Play Award’ and played in the following season’s UEFA Cup as a Championship team.
Betfred offer Ipswich at 4/1, the Draw at 3/1 and slight Odds On 3/5 for Manchester United to come away with all 3-points.
Betfred offer 7/1 that Bruno Fernandez Scores First and 2/1 that Manchester United Win To Nil.

Monday 25th
NEWCASTLE v WEST HAM
20.00 in England
Sky Sports
Newcastle gained a great away day victory over Nottingham Forest at the City Ground last time out.
With Forest on a 4-game-unbeaten streak, with 3 of the 4 being wins, it was assumed that the Magpies might struggle against the Tricky Trees, however, not the case as goals from Alexander Isak, Joelinton and Harvey Barnes gave Eddie’s Black and Whites the points from a 3-1 scoreline.
Nuno’s Tricky Trees had scored first.
Newcastle moved up to 8th place with the same 18 points as Aston Villa and Fulham, all having completed 11 games.
West Ham played in a (not so) very entertaining game against Everton at the London Stadium before the Break, with both teams failing to find the back of the net, giving both a point from a draw by a 0-0 score, or as some might say a goalless draw.
Julen Lopetegui is under pressure at the club but for the time is still the Hammers Manager.
West Ham sit in 14th place with 12 points from the initial 11 games completed.
Newcastle gained the home victory over West Ham in last season’s encounter at St James Park.
In a 7-goal thriller, Eddie Howe’s Magpies got the win over David Moyes’ Hammers by a 4-3 score, with the goals going in as follows.
6′ Alexander Isak (pen Newcastle 1-0)
21′ Michail Antonio (West Ham 1-1)
45+9′ Mohammed Kudus (West Ham 1-2)
Half-Time Hot Dog.
48′ Jarrod Bowen (West Ham 1-3)
77′ Alexander Isak (pen Newcastle 2-3)
83′ Harvey Barnes (Newcastle 3-3)
90′ Harvey Barnes (Newcastle 4-3)
Full-Time Bottle of Newcastle Broon Ale.
Betfred offer Newcastle at Odds On 8/15, the Draw at 16/5 and 17/4 for West Ham to come away with all 3-points.
Betfred offer 4/1 that Alexander Isak Scores First and 2/1 that Newcastle Score in Both Halves.
(If your pre-match First Goalscorer bet scores First and then scores a Second, Betfred DOUBLE the odds.
If they score a Third, Betfred TREBLE the odds.)

The Top of the Scottish Premier League remains the same, with Celtic at the summit on 31 points, Aberdeen in 2nd place, also with 31 and Rangers trailing in 3rd with 22 points, following the Game Week-11 set of Pub League fixtures.
Celtic gained their victory over Kilmarnock (who?), Aberdeen got the win against Dundee (who?) and Rangers winning their fixture over Hearts (who?)
It’s exciting North of the Border.
Braveheart/Kylie is still spinning around.
