Game Week-28
All of these fixtures are the reverse of Game Week-13, which took place over the weekend of the 29th and 30th of November 2025.

WOLVES v ASTON VILLA
20.00 in England
Sky Sports
Wolves will have played three times since the Game Week-26 fixture against Nottingham Forest.
An FA Cup tie against Grimsby, which resulted in a win and progression to the 5th-Round, then a rearranged fixture against Arsenal which produced a brilliant point from a draw by a 2-2 score and put a huge dent in the Gunners title ambitions.
Arsenal scored twice to take a 2-goal lead and were comfortably ahead with no real danger from Wolves.
Then Hugo Bueno hit a speculative shot which went straight into the net.
Rob Edwards made an inspired substitution, sending on Tom Edozie, who is an Under/21 player and had never seen any action for the first team, until Rob turned around and said,
‘Tha coming on lad!’
That was in the 84th minute, 10 minutes later when 4 minutes of added time had gone, Tom scored the equaliser, smashing the ball past the Gunners Goalkeeper and a couple of Defenders who were on the line.
The point gained left Wolves with 10, still sitting at the foot of the table after 27 games played.
It was then an outing against Crystal Palace on Sunday, which ended in a defeat, this time by a 1-0 scoreline.
What will irk everyone connected with Wolves is the fact that Tolu Arokodare had the opportunity to give the Gold and Blacks the lead when Wolves were awarded a penalty in the 43rd minute.
Unfortunately, for the travelling faithful in attendance at Selhurst Park, Tolu saw his tame spot kick saved by the Palace Goalkeeper, Dean Henderson.
Things got worse for the away team when a mad couple of minutes, saw the Wolves Defender Ladislav Krejci receive 2 Yellow Cards and the subsequent Red to leave his mates a man short for the last half hour.
With 90 minutes up on the clock, Crystal Palace scored to inflict the defeat on Wolves, leaving Rob Edwards’ men at the foot of the table with 10 points from 28 games played.
That’s a massive 17 points from safety, which means, although it’s yet to be confirmed, Wolves will be relegated.
Aston Villa gained a point from a draw by a 1-1 score against Leeds United at Villa Park on Saturday.
In truth, the away team were better and scored the opener in the 31st minute to leave Villa trailing right up until the 88th, when the Super Sub, Tammy Abraham, who had come on in the 75th minute, scored the late equaliser to give both teams a share of the points.
Villa stay in 3rd place, with 51 points from the 27 games played.
A single Boubacar Kamara goal gave Aston Villa the victory over Wolves, by a 1-0 scoreline, when the two met at Villa Park back in November.
Betfred offer Wolves at 3/1, the Draw at 13/5 and slight Odds On 9/10 for Aston Villa to come away with all 3-points.
Betfred offer 9/2 that Morgan Rogers Scores First and 4/1 that Aston Villa Win Both Halves.
(If your pre-match First Goalscorer bet scores First and then scores a Second, Betfred DOUBLE the odds.
If they score a Third, Betfred TREBLE the odds.)

BOURNEMOUTH v SUNDERLAND
12.30 in England
TNT Sport
Following 5 straight Premier League score draws in Bournemouth’s fixtures against West Ham, it was easy to predict a draw in the 6th game.
Probably what the anomaly was from the 6th draw in succession is that neither team scored, meaning both gained a point from a 0-0 score.
The point gained, as remember, it’s always a point gained following a draw, leaves Andoni Iraola’s Cherries in 8th place with 38 points from 27 games played.
After 12 unbeaten games at the Stadium of Light, Sunderland suffered their 2nd-home defeat in a row on Sunday, succumbing to a loss against Fulham by a 3-1 score.
After a goalless 1st-half, Fulham scored twice to take the lead before Sunderland were awarded a penalty in the 76th minute.
Enzo Le Fee converted to halve the deficit, however, Fulham then scored a 3rd late on to gain the away-day victory.
The loss leaves Sunderland in 12th place with the same 36 points as their North East rivals Newcastle, both having completed 27 games.
Despite early goals from Amine Adli and Tyler Adams, which gave Bournemouth a 2-0 lead after 15 minutes, when the two teams met at the Stadium of Light, it was Sunderland that eventually gained the victory, by a 3-2 scoreline.
Enzo Le Fee converted a penalty on the half-hour mark to halve the deficit at the break.
Second-half goals from Bertrand Traore and Brian Brobbey gave the home team a brilliant win.
Betfred offer Bournemouth at slight Odds On 4/5, the Draw at 13/5 and 7/2 for Sunderland to come away with all 3-points.
Betfred offer 7/2 that Eli Junior Kroupi Scores First and that Brian Brobbey Scores Anytime.
(If your pre-match First Goalscorer bet scores First and then scores a Second, Betfred DOUBLE the odds.
If they score a Third, Betfred TREBLE the odds.)

BURNLEY v BRENTFORD
15.00 in England
Burnley snatched a great point from a draw against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
The home team scored after 4 minutes and it did look like it was going to be an easy win for the Blues, however, Chelsea couldn’t add to the opening goal and then had a player sent off in the 72nd minute, which Burnley took advantage of, eventually scoring a late equaliser.
James Ward-Prowse swung in a corner which was headed home by Zian Flemming in the 93rd minute to give both teams a point apiece from a 1-1 scoreline.
It was a smash-and-grab steal of a point from the Blues as Chelsea were in complete control until the sending off, with Burnley benefiting from the indiscretion.
Burnley remain in 19th place with 19 points from the 27 games played.
Brentford suffered just their 3rd home defeat of the season on Saturday, succumbing to a loss against Brighton by a 2-0 scoreline.
The shock defeat leaves the Bees in 7th place with 40 points from 27 games played.
Brentford gained the home win over Burnley back in the Game Week-13 encounter at the GTech Stadium.
The first 80 minutes of the affair produced nothing, then like London Buses, 4 goals came along in quick succession.
Igor Thiago scored 2 goals for the Bees in the 81st and 86th, with Zian Flemming scoring in between for the Clarets.
Dango Outtara secured the victory by scoring the 3rd, to give Brentford all 3-points from a 3-1 scoreline.
Betfred offer Burnley at 16/5, the Draw at 13/5 and slight Odds On 5/6 for Brentford to come away with all 3-points.
Betfred offer 11/4 that Igor Thiago Scores First and 6/4 that Brentford Score In Both Halves.
(If your pre-match First Goalscorer bet scores First and then scores a Second, Betfred DOUBLE the odds.
If they score a Third, Betfred TREBLE the odds.)

LIVERPOOL v WEST HAM
15.00 in England
Liverpool left it late to gain the win over Nottingham Forest at the City Ground on Sunday.
Very late!
After 90 minutes were up and the score still 0-0, Alexis Mac Allister thought he’d scored the winner, however, the ball appeared to come off Alexis’s elbow so the dreaded VAR ruled the goal out.
Seven minutes later, Alexis scored again but this time the dreaded couldn’t find a reason to cancel the goal (they did try!) so Liverpool got the winner in the 97th minute to edge out Forest from a 1-0 scoreline.
Liverpool stay in 6th place with the same 45 points as Chelsea, both having played 27 times.
West Ham remain in the relegation zone, sitting in 18th place with 25 points following Saturday’s goalless draw against Bournemouth at the London Stadium.
Now just 2 points adrift of Nottingham Forest, who are the safe team.
That was the 6th draw in a row between the Hammers and the Cherries, however, the only one of the 6 that didn’t produce a goal.
After a goalless 1st-half in the reverse fixture at the London Stadium, goals from Alexander Isak (remember him?) and Coady Gakpo, gave Liverpool the away-day victory over West Ham by a 2-0 scoreline.
Lucas Paqueta was sent off in the 84th minute before Coady’s goal.
The referee Darren England, gave Lucas a Yellow for a foul, however, Lucas didn’t agree with the card and decided to argue the decision which eventually produced another Yellow and the subsequent Red.
Silly Boy!
Betfred offer Liverpool at Odds On 4/11, the Draw at 4/1 and 13/2 for West Ham to come away with all 3-points.
Betfred offer 3/1 that Hugo Ekitike Scores First and 6/4 that Liverpool Win To Nil.
(If your pre-match First Goalscorer bet scores First and then scores a Second, Betfred DOUBLE the odds.
If they score a Third, Betfred TREBLE the odds.)

NEWCASTLE v EVERTON
15.00 in England
Newcastle suffered the expected defeat against Man City at the Etihad on Saturday.
A lot of people assume the Magpies have a decent record against City but that’s really not the case.
Man City have won 6 of the last 8 games in all competitions with Saturday’s victory the 3rd this year, which includes the 2 games in the Carabao Cup Semi-Final.
There is a 5th game of this season, in the 5th-Round of the FA Cup, coming up at the beginning of March, which is at St James Park.
Bruno Guimaraes is a big miss for Newcastle with the Brazilian currently sidelined through injury.
Lewis Hall hit a speculative shot which deflected into the net to equalise an earlier Man City goal.
Unfortunately for the Toon Army in attendance at the Etihad, the parity didn’t last long with Newcastle conceding a 2nd, 5 minutes after Lewis’s strike.
With no further goals in the remaining hour or so, Newcastle suffered the defeat by a 2-1 scoreline.
There had been a brilliant performance from the Magpies in the 1st-leg of the Champions League playoff against Qarabag, which saw Eddie’s team get the victory from a 6-1 scoreline, basically meaning that the tie is over and Eddie can rest a few for the return leg at St James Park on Tuesday.
Newcastle sit in 11th place with the same 36 points as Sunderland from 27 games played.
A quick note regarding Lewis Hall.
Don’t be surprised if the lad is England’s Left Back for the opening game against Croatia at this year’s World Cup.
Everton suffered a home defeat in a dull affair against Manchester United at Hill Dickinson Stadium on Monday Night Football.
After a less-than-entertaining 70 minutes, United scored the opener and with no further goals, inflicted the loss on Everton from a 1-0 scoreline.
Everton sit in 9th place with the same 37 points as Fulham from the 27 games played.
Newcastle smashed Everton in the Game Week-13 encounter at Hill Dickinson Stadium back in November.
Malick Thiaw, Lewis Miley and Nick Woltemade all scored to give Newcastle a lead at the break.
Malick then added his 2nd and Newcastle’s 4th in the 58th minute before Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall scored a consolation goal for Everton, leaving the Magpies with the victory over the Toffees by a 4-1 scoreline.
Betfred offer Newcastle at slight Odds On 4/5, the Draw at 11/4 and 10/3 for Everton to come away with all 3-points.
Betfred offer 5/1 that Anthony Gordon Scores First and 7/2 that Newcastle Win Both Halves.

If they score a Third, Betfred TREBLE the odds.)

LEEDS UNITED v MAN CITY
17.30 in England
Sky Sports
Leeds United were unfortunate not to get the win over Aston Villa at Villa Park on Saturday.
After Anton Stach had scored a superb goal on the half-hour mark, to give Leeds the lead, it appeared that the points were on their way back up the M1 to Elland Rd.
However, the home team scored an equaliser in the 88th minute to give both teams a point apiece from a 1-1 scoreline.
The point gained leaves Leeds in 15th place with 31 points from 27 games played.
The West Yorkshire Puddings are seeing their White Idols edge closer to the safety mark which should be around 35 points.
Man City gained a professional victory over Newcastle at the Etihad on Saturday Night Football.
Nico O’Reilly scored twice in the 1st-half to give Pep’s High Flying Blues the win over Eddie’s Magpies by a 2-1 score.
Newcastle did get a goal to equalise Nico’s opener.
Following Arsenal’s capitulation against Wolves last Wednesday, it was imperative that Man City got all 3 points to keep up the title challenge.
It meant the gap between the two was just 2 points before Arsenal’s win against Tottenham on Sunday.
The gap is now 5 points between Arsenal, who sit at the top with 61 points and Man City who sit in 2nd place with 56 points, however, City do have a game in hand and the two do meet at the Etihad in April, which could just be a winner takes all fixture.
One will add though, this is not a gimme against a very good Leeds team who have the West Yorkshire Puddings behind them at their iconic home, all singing their favourite tune,
Marching On Together!
Erling Haaland goes home!
Erling was born in Leeds when his Dad, Alf-Inge had been a player at Elland Rd back in 2000.
Man City gained the home victory over Leeds in the Game Week-13 affair at the Etihad.
Phil Foden and Josko Gvardiol scored to give City a lead at the break.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin scored just after the restart to halve the deficit before the ex-City man, Lukas Nmecha added a 2nd Leeds goal to make the score level in the 68th minute.
After being awarded a penalty,
Lukas saw his spot kick originally saved but the ball came back to him to slot in the rebound.
City left it late to seal the victory, with Phil Foden scoring the winner in the 91st minute, giving Pep’s Blues the points from a 3-2 scoreline.
Betfred offer Leeds United at 4/1, the Draw at 16/5 and Odds On 3/5 for Man City to come away with all 3-points.
Betfred offer 11/5 that Erling Haaland Scores First and 7/4 that Man City Win To Nil.

BRIGHTON v NOTTINGHAM FOREST
14.00 in England
Sky Sports
Brighton got one of the best results of the weekend, gaining a victory over Brentford at the GTech Stadium, which only 2 other teams have done so far this season (Nottingham Forest and Man City.)
Goals from Diego Gomez and Danny Welbeck gave the Seagulls the victory over the Bees by a 2-0 scoreline.
The win was the first since the victory over Burnley at the beginning of the year, with 3 draws and 3 losses in the 6 games since.
The pressure was beginning to mount on Fabian Hurzeler but the win should ease things for the time being.
Brighton sit in 14th place with 34 points from 27 games played.
The game against Brentford saw James Milner become the Premier League’s appearance record holder, overtaking Gareth Barry, with James now having 654 appearances in the Top Flight.
Mr Milner had come on as a substitute over the past few weeks to bulk up his numbers, however, Fabian picked the Leeds lad in his starting lineup, to celebrate the brilliant achievement.
Nottingham Forest put in a great performance against Liverpool at the City Ground on Sunday, in Vitor Pereira’s first Premier League game in charge and were just seconds away from gaining a point from a draw, however, Liverpool scored in the 97th minute to inflict the defeat on Forest by a 1-0 scoreline.
Although it was a great performance from the Tricky Trees, it was difficult to see if Vitor had put his own stamp on the team as Forest, despite their league position, weren’t in too bad a state under Sean Dyche.
Forest got a comfortable win over Fenerbahce (3-0) in the 1st-leg of the Europa League playoff, with the 2nd-leg taking place at the City Ground on Thursday, so progression to the last-16 seems taken care of and Vitor may be able to rest a few in preparation for this fixture against Brighton and give some fringe players the chance to shine against the Turks.
Brighton gained the away-day victory over Nottingham Forest at the City Ground back in November.
Maxim De Cuyper scored in 1st-half injury time to give the Seagulls a lead at the break.
Stefanos Tzimas added a 2nd late on to give Brighton the win from a 2-0 score.
Betfred offer Brighton at 21/20, the Draw at 5/2 and 12/5 for Nottingham Forest to come away with all 3-points.
Betfred offer 13/2 that Diego Gomez Scores First and Evens 1/1 that there are Under 2.5 Goals.

FULHAM v TOTTENHAM
14.00 in England
Sky Sports
Fulham did what only Liverpool had done this season and that was gain a victory over Sunderland at the Stadium of Light.
After a goalless 1st-half, Raul Jimenez scored twice (1 being a converted penalty) to give Fulham a 2 goal lead on the hour mark.
Sunderland did get a penalty themselves which was converted to halve the deficit, however, with time running out and Sunderland pushing for an equaliser, Alex Iwobi scored a 3rd in the 85th minute to seal the victory from a 3-1 score.
Fulham sit in 10th place with the same 37 points as Everton, both having completed 27 games so far.
Tottenham, under the guidance of the New Interim Manager Igor Tudor, continued the losing streak against Arsenal on Sunday, succumbing to a home defeat against the Gunners by a 4-1 scoreline.
The same scoreline as the reverse fixture at the Emirates.
Randal Kolo Muani did score to equalise Arsenal’s opener, however, the Gunners scored 3 times in the 2nd-half to inflict the loss, which is Tottenham’s 3rd in a row.
Igor Tudor wasn’t brought in to get a victory over Arsenal, it was more than likely that Thomas Frank’s Spurs would have lost anyway.
IT has been brought in to settle the team and try and get better results in fixtures against the likes of Fulham and Crystal Palace, who are Tottenham’s next opponents.
Only time will tell whether that works out.
Tottenham sit in 16th place with 29 points from 27 games played.
Fulham gained the away-day victory over Tottenham when the two teams met in the Game Week-13 encounter back in November.
Kenny Tete and Harry Wilson scored in the 4th and 6th minute respectively to give the Cottagers a lead at the break.
Mohammed Kudos did pull a goal back in the 59th minute but Fulham held on for the win from a 2-1 scoreline.
Betfred offer Fulham at 23/20, the Draw at 13/5 and 21/10 for Tottenham to come away with all 3-points.
Betfred offer 11/2 that Harry Wilson Scores First and 7/4 that Fulham Score in Both Halves.

MANCHESTER UNITED v CRYSTAL PALACE
14.00 in England
Sky Sports
Following a goalless 1st-half at Hill Dickinson Stadium on Monday Night Football, a few of the watching millions went straight on Google to see when the local B and Q was closing, as some were wanting to purchase paint, put it on the walls and watch it dry, as it couldn’t have been less dull than watching United v Everton.
It took until the 71st minute for the game to ignite when the Super Sub, Benjamin Sesko scored the only goal of the game to give United the win from a 1-0 scoreline.
A bit of inspiration from Super Michael Carrick who sent Benjamin on 13 minutes into the 2nd-half.
That was Big Ben’s 7th Premier League goal of the season.
United remain in 4th place with 48 points from the 27 games completed.
Crystal Palace gained a victory over Wolves at Selhurst Park on Sunday.
A single Evann Guessand goal, scored in the 90th minute, gave Palace the win over Wolves from a 1-0 scoreline.
The result could have been slightly different if Wolves had converted a penalty earlier in the game, however, Dean Henderson saved the spot kick, allowing Palace to get the late winner, which eases the pressure on Oliver Glasner.
Oliver has already said he’s leaving at the end of the season, however, the results over the next few weeks, could see the Austrian leave Selhurst Park earlier.
There’s the 2nd-leg of the Europa Conference League playoff on Thursday, which sees the tie finely poised at 1-1 against Zrinjski.
If the unthinkable happens and Palace are knocked out of that particular competition, it’s more than likely Oliver will be on the plane back to Austria.
Manchester United gained the away-day win over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park back in November.
Jean-Philippe Mateta converted a penalty in the 36th minute to give the Eagles the lead at the break.
It was then the Manchester United show, with goals from Joshua Zirkzee and Mason Mount giving Ruben’s Red Devils the victory from a 2-1 scoreline.
Betfred offer Manchester United at Odds On 4/7, the Draw at 16/5 and 9/2 for Crystal Palace to come away with all 3-points.
Betfred offer 9/2 that Bruno Fernandes Scores First and 13/5 that Jorgen Strand-Larsen Scores Anytime.

ARSENAL v CHELSEA
16.30 in England
Sky Sports
There is a word used by John Newsome, which can be considered as slang with the word spelt ‘ooof’ and sounds like ‘who-of’
‘Ooof is used to express discomfort, physical pain, surprise, dismay, or sympathy for someone else’s awkward or unfortunate situation.’
That word was used a few times last Wednesday Night, when Arsenal had the victory snatched from them by Wolves, who gained a point from a draw by a 2-2 score at Molineux.
Ooof!
Goals from Bukayo Saka and Piero Hincapie, either side of the half-time break, gave Arsenal a comfortable lead.
Unfortunately, for the watching Gunners, who had made the trip up North to Molineux, their idols conceded twice to ultimately draw the game by a 2-2 score.
This has been documented a few times in this EveryTip column, that although Arsenal were on course for the win and 3 points, the fact that the game finished in a draw, doesn’t mean that Arsenal lost 2 points.
Arsenal started the game against Wolves with 57 points, gained a point from the draw, so then had 58 points from 27 games played.
Yes, it is disappointing for everyone connected with the club, that the Gunners came away from Molineux with just a point but it was a point gained not 2 points lost.
Arsenal stayed at the Top of the Table with 58 points going into the fixture against Tottenham on Sunday.
Probably the game against Tottenham was considered easier than against Wolves, which turned out to be the case.
Mikel’s Young Guns gained an easy away day victory over their North London rivals to stay at the summit of the Premier League.
Two goals apiece from Eberechi Eze and Viktor Gyokeres, gave the Gunners the win over Spurs from a 4-1 scoreline, the same score as from the reverse fixture at the Emirates.
Eberechi Eze has scored 6 goals for Arsenal this season with 5 of them being against Tottenham.
The other was against his old club Crystal Palace.
Man City played on Saturday and gained a victory over Newcastle, which gave them 56 points from 27 games, however, Arsenal have played a game more.
The two face each other in April.
The simple facts are these, if Arsenal win all of their remaining 10 games, the Gunners will be Champions.
However, if Man City win all of their 11 games, Pep’s High Flying Blues will be Champions.
One might ask,
‘How is that possible?’
It’s because Man City have to play Arsenal at the Etihad, so the winner of that game can be the only team to win their remaining games.
Both teams shared the points from a draw by a 1-1 score, when the two met at Stamford Bridge back in November.
Moises Caicedo was shown a straight Red Card in the 38th minute for a nasty tackle on Mikel Merino.
Trevoh Chalobah scored for the 10-man Blues in the 48th minute to give Chelsea a surprise lead.
Mikel Merino then scored for the Gunners in the 59th minute and with no further goals both teams went home with a point apiece from a 1-1 scoreline.
Betfred offer Arsenal at Odds On 3/5, the Draw at 3/1 and 9/2 for Chelsea to come away with all 3-points.
Betfred offer 7/2 that Viktor Gyokeres Scores First and 11/4 that Cole Palmer Scores Anytime.
(If your pre-match First Goalscorer bet scores First and then scores a Second, Betfred DOUBLE the odds.
If they score a Third, Betfred TREBLE the odds.)
