Game Week-31
All of these fixtures are the reverse of Game Week-16 which took place over the weekend of 13th/14th and 15th of December 2025.
There are only eight games scheduled for this weekend, as Man City and Arsenal will be competing in the Carabao Cup Final next Sunday.
A quick note regarding the Premier League Title Race, with the two main protagonists not taking part in this Game Week-31 encounter.
There’s an old proverb which is now probably not politically correct, that goes-
‘It ain’t over until the Fat Lady sings!’
Which basically means an event doesn’t finish until the Fat Lady sings the final song of the show.
Whilst the Premier League Title Race isn’t officially over, the Fat Lady or the Rotund Girl is warming up her voice, ready for Arsenal to be crowned Champions, which after Saturday Nights Football, over a 2 hour period, saw Arsenal gain a victory over Everton by a 2-0 score, then later in the evening, see Man City gain a draw with West Ham, to leave the gap between Arsenal and City, now at a massive 9 points.
Arsenal have played a game more than Man City but in reality, that game is irrelevant.
Arsenal’s remaining fixtures are-
Arsenal v Bournemouth
Man City v Arsenal
Arsenal v Newcastle
Arsenal v Fulham
West Ham v Arsenal
Arsenal v Burnley
Crystal Palace v Arsenal
Four of the seven games are at the Emirates and apart from the fixture against Man City, the rest are against teams that are 9th or lower in the table.
Man City’s remaining fixtures are-
Chelsea v Man City
Man City v Arsenal
Burnley v Man City
Everton v Man City
Man City v Crystal Palace
Man City v Brentford
Bournemouth v Man City
Man City v Aston Villa
As one can see, Man City have games against 6 of the clubs in the Top 10.
Even if one takes away the 9-point advantage that Arsenal currently have over City, the Gunners remaining fixtures appear to be a lot easier than City’s.
The simple reality is that Arsenal would have to lose 3 of those fixtures above including the game against Man City and then City win all 8 of their games for Arsenal not to win the title.
It’s highly unlikely that Arsenal will lose again this season and maybe at worst, just once against Man City, so to lose 3 out of their remaining 7 and Man City win all 8, is probably not going to happen.
Man City can now only get a maximum of 85 points.
That would then be 82 points if Arsenal get a victory over Man City at the Emirates.
Arsenal will achieve 82 points if they win the next 4 games (including the game against City).
Added to that, Arsenal have a slightly better goal difference, currently plus+7 over Man City.
The Fat Lady is definitely warming up her voice, ready for singing-
‘The Angel-(North London Forever!)’
Which is the Arsenal go-to song that the Gooners sing before each game at the Emirates.

BOURNEMOUTH v MANCHESTER UNITED
20.00 in England
Sky Sports
Bournemouth gained a point from a draw by a 0-0 score against Burnley at Turf Moor on Saturday.
There’s not much more to say about that particular game, other than it was a long journey for the Cherry Blossoms to watch a goalless game.
Bournemouth sit in 10th place with the same 41 points as Fulham and still have the possibility of gaining entry into next season’s European competitions, providing this year’s campaign doesn’t fizzle out.
Following a slight blip in Super Michael Carrick’s Interim Manager’s role, where United suffered a first defeat in 8 against Newcastle last week, it was back to winning ways on Sunday, with United gaining a victory over Aston Villa at Old Trafford.
Goals from Casemiro, Matheus Cunha and Benjamin Sesko, all scored in the 2nd-half, gave United the victory over Villa from a 3-1 scoreline.
Aston Villa scored their goal to equalise Casemiro’s opener.
The game was the proverbial 6-pointer, with both teams having 51 points before kickoff, meaning United now have 54 and sit clear in 3rd place following 30 games played.
With Liverpool subsequently only managing to draw their clash against Tottenham and Chelsea suffering a defeat, United strengthened their position in the Top Four to hopefully secure a Champions League spot for next season.
This game at the Vitality is a great Friday Night viewing for the folks sat at home with the takeout and glass of wine, however, think about the Red Devil faithful who have to make their way down to Bournemouth, a round trip of about 500 miles and 8 hours, which will see the fans return to Manchester at about 3 AM on Saturday Morning.
That said, the reverse fixture at Old Trafford back in December was a Monday Night Football affair, which kicked off at the same 20.00 hours in England which means both sets of fans have had to make the same journey at the same time.
Can anyone remember the score in the fixture back at Old Trafford in mid-December 2025?
Well, the Monday Night Football, produced a spectacular draw from a 4-4 scoreline, with the goals going in as follows-
13′ Amad Diallo (Manchester United 1-0)
40′ Antoine Semenyo (Bournemouth 1-1)
45+4′ Casemiro (Manchester United 2-1)
Half-Time Cous-Cous Pie and Can of Tizer.
46′ Evanilson (Bournemouth 2-2)
52′ Marcus Tavernier (Bournemouth 2-3)
77′ Bruno Fernandes (Manchester United 3-3)
79′ Matheus Cunha (Manchester United 4-3)
84′ Eli Junior Kroupi (Bournemouth 4-4)
Full-Time Motorway Service Sandwich Costing £6.40.
Betfred offer Bournemouth at 21/10, the Draw at 11/4 and 21/20 for Manchester United to come away with all 3-points.
Betfred offer 6/1 that Bruno Fernandes Scores First and 6/4 that Manchester United Score in Both Halves.

BRIGHTON v LIVERPOOL
12.30 in England
TNT Sport
After almost an hour without a goal at the Stadium of Light between Sunderland and Brighton, Yankuba Minteh scored for the away team to give Fabian Hurzeler’s Seagulls the win over Regis Le Bris’ Black Cats by a 1-0 scoreline.
That’s the 3rd win in 4 for Brighton with a loss against Arsenal coming in the other.
Brighton sit in 12th place with the same 40 points as Sunderland from 30 games played.
Liverpool blew the opportunity to jump up to 4th place on Sunday following the game against Tottenham at Anfield.
After seeing Aston Villa suffer a defeat against Manchester United just before Liverpool’s game kicked off, a win for Arne’s Slot Machines would have seen Liverpool match Villa’s 51 points but would have seen both teams swap places due to Liverpool’s slightly better goal difference.
Liverpool have plus+9 and Aston Villa have plus+3.
Added to those, Chelsea in 6th place with 48 points, have a far superior goal difference than both, with the Blues having plus+18.
Dominic Szoboszlai scored another superb free kick in the 18th minute to give Liverpool a lead at the break against Tottenham.
With time virtually up on the clock, Tottenham scored an equaliser in the 90th minute to give both teams a point from a draw by a 1-1 score.
In truth, Tottenham were the better team in the 2nd-half and deserved the point.
Liverpool remain in 5th place with 49 points, which 5th should be good enough to gain entry into the Champions League.
The top two countries with the best UEFA Coefficient Score are given an extra Champions League place.
The Coefficient Scores at the moment are-
1- England 9/9 teams with a Coefficient Average of 22,847.
The maximum score on offer for England is 33,125.
2- Spain 6/8 teams with a Coefficient Average of 18,406.
The maximum score on offer for Spain is 27,281.
3- Germany 5/7 teams with a Coefficient Average of 18,142.
The maximum score on offer for Germany is 28,500.
England are currently Number 1 and are the only country that have all of their teams (9) that started the different European Competitions still in their respective tournaments.
Unfortunately, last week’s 1st-legs for the English teams, didn’t go well so it’s possible that the Coefficient Score will be reduced drastically.
It will be hard for England to throw away the ‘5th place entry’ from this position, even with Tottenham, Liverpool, Chelsea, Man City and Nottingham Forest losing in the 1st- leg of their last-16 ties.
Arsenal and Newcastle drew their respective Champions League 1st-legs.
Aston Villa were the only team to win across the whole week.
Crystal Palace drew their Europa Conference League 1st-leg.
However, the real damage will only be known this week, if teams are eliminated and England (22.847) are not far off the score of the 2nd-placed country from last season (Spain, 23.892).
Liverpool take on Galatasaray at Anfield on Wednesday in the 2nd-leg of the last-16 Champions League encounter, currently trailing 1-0 from the 1st-leg in Turkey.
There has been a bit of conjecture regarding the English teams in the various European Competitions over the past week or so, with 4 of the 6 Premier League clubs in the Champions League (Liverpool, Man City, Chelsea and Tottenham) all losing their 1st-legs, with the other two (Arsenal and Newcastle) drawing.
It wasn’t much different in the Europa and Conference Leagues, with Nottingham Forest suffering a 1st-leg defeat and Crystal Palace drawing their Conference League encounter.
Only Aston Villa from the Premier League won their 1st-leg European game.
Whilst this set of results doesn’t show the English Premier League in a good light, there are a few little anomalies, not reasons, just anomalies, that could help explain different things.
For example-
Five of the six Champions League 1st-leg ties, saw the English teams playing away.
Only Newcastle were at home.
Liverpool did have chances against Galatasaray but were unlucky not to score and will be excited at the opportunity to play at Anfield, where despite trailing, it is only by 1 goal.
The Spanish League or La Liga let Real Madrid play their league fixture on the previous Friday, 24 hours before Man City’s FA Cup tie against Newcastle, giving Real exactly 5 days rest and preparation for the home fixture against Man City, who had 24 hours less rest and preparation plus the travelling over to Spain.
The 2nd-leg in Manchester, sees both teams have the same 3 days rest and preparation, with both playing their domestic games at 20.00 hours on Saturday Night.
Again, not an excuse as to why Man City lost the 1st-leg (one can throw Pep’s team selection in as an anomaly to why City lost!)
It was the same for Chelsea, who played their domestic FA Cup tie, 24 hours before Paris Saint-Germain’s Ligue Un fixture, with the Blues then having to travel over to France.
Tottenham were just not good enough against Atletico Madrid, despite having 2 full days rest and preparation over Atletico for the game in Spain.
At the moment, Tottenham are not in a good place so the ‘anomaly’ for their defeat can be put down to a lot of things.
Arsenal will be happy with the draw in Germany and should be too strong for Bayer Leverkusen at the Emirates.
Newcastle will be happy with their 1-1 draw against Barcelona, however, the anomaly there is that, unlike the other 5 English teams in the Champions League, Newcastle’s 2nd-leg tie is away, at the Nou Camp in Spain.
That said, Newcastle will have an extra 24 hours rest and preparation for the game, with the Magpies domestic fixture taking place a day before Barcelona’s La Liga encounter.
Regarding Aston Villa, Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace’s European 1st and 2nd-leg, all ties are pretty close so anything can happen there.
Bayern Munich were allowed to switch their Bundesliga fixture to the Friday Night, in preparation for their last-16 tie against Atalanta where the Germans trounced the Italians by a 6-1 scoreline.
Atalanta played their Serie A game 24 hours after Bayern’s Bundesliga fixture.
Whilst not an exact science, is having an extra day or so to rest and prepare for the Champions League midweek game, beneficial?
Should the English Premier League look into this to help out the English clubs, prior to the European adventures?
These are some of the ‘anomalies’ (not reasons) which may have been a factor in the English performances in Europe last week.
A couple of Hugo Ekitike goals, scored in the 1st minute and then an hour later, gave Liverpool the home win over Brighton at Anfield back in December from a 2-0 scoreline.
Betfred offer Brighton at 2/1, the Draw at 13/5 and 23/20 for Liverpool to come away with all 3-points.
Betfred offer 6/1 that Danny Welbeck Scores First and 16/5 that the Game is a Draw and Both Teams Score.

If they score a Third, Betfred TREBLE the odds.)

FULHAM v BURNLEY
15.00 in England
It’s probably fair to say that Game Week-30 was the ‘2025/26 Premier League’s Week of Draws and Limited Goals’!
Granted, not the most inspiring of titles but true nonetheless, with 6 of the 10 fixtures finishing in draws and 3 of those 6 being draws by a 0-0 score, with 2 being 1-1 and the other being 2-2.
The remaining 4 fixtures from GW-30 produced a total of 8 goals, therefore the overall total from the 10 games saw just 16 balls going into the back of the net, or as one says in Yorkshire,
‘Back of t’onion bag!’
Fulham played in one of those goalless draws, gaining a point against Nottingham Forest at the City Ground from a 0-0 scoreline.
Marco Silva’s Cottagers sit in 11th place with the same 41 points as Bournemouth, both having played 30 times.
Burnley also played out a goalless draw against Bournemouth at Turf Moor on Saturday, with the Clarets’ season fizzling out like a wet Catherine Wheel.
Burnley will be relegated, it’s just a matter of when it’s officially confirmed, with Scott Parker’s men sitting in 19th place with 20 points from the 30 games completed.
Now 9 points from safety.
16- Tottenham- scored 40/conceded 47 (minus-7)- 30 pts
17- Nottingham Forest- scored 28/conceded 43 (minus-15)- 29 pts
18- West Ham- scored 36/ conceded 55 (minus-19)- 29 pts
19- Burnley- scored 32/
conceded 58 (minus-26)- 20 pts
20- Wolves- scored 22/
conceded 52 (minus-30)- 16 pts
One could be forgiven for expecting a bucketload of goals today.
Fulham gained the away-day victory over Burnley at Turf Moor in the Game Week-16 encounter.
Emile Smith-Rowe and Calvin Bassey scored the 1st-half goals for Fulham with Lesley Ugochukwu scoring for Burnley in between Emile’s and Calvin’s strikes.
Harry Wilson added a 3rd for the Cottagers just before the hour mark.
Oliver Sonne did score a 2nd for the Clarets in the 80th minute, however, Marco Silva’s boys held on for the win from a 3-2 scoreline.
Betfred offer Fulham at Odds On 1/2, the Draw at 3/1 and 5/1 for Burnley to come away with all 3-points.
Betfred offer 10/3 that Raul Jimenez Scores First and 11/8 that Fulham Win To Nil.

EVERTON v CHELSEA
17.30 in England
Sky Sports
Everton put in a great shift for 88 minutes against Arsenal at the Emirates on Saturday and when it looked like the Toffees would gain a point from a draw, the home team scored twice to inflict the defeat on Everton by a 2-0 scoreline.
There was a bizarre end to proceedings when Everton got a late corner in the 96th minute which, because the Toffees were trailing by 1 goal, saw Jordan Pickford venture forward in the hope of manufacturing an equaliser.
Unfortunately for Jordan and everyone connected with Everton, the ball was cleared by Arsenal, who then had the youngster Max Dowman take the ball up to the empty net and score a 2nd, becoming the youngest ever Premier League goal scorer.
The previous Youngest Premier League goal scorer was, in a twist of fate, an Everton player called James Vaughan.
Prior to JV the youngest was James Milner, who had just broken Wayne Rooney’s record.
Again, in a twist of fate, Wayne scored his goal for Everton against Arsenal.
Max’s record is now 16 years and 73 days, James Vaughan’s was 16 years and 270 days, which was scored in 2005.
James Milner was 16 years and 356 days old, which just beat Wayne Rooney’s opener at 16 years and 360 days.
Everton sit in 8th place with 43 points from 30 games played.
Chelsea suffered a home defeat against Newcastle on Saturday, succumbing to the loss by a 1-0 scoreline.
Newcastle scored after 18 minutes and then shut out the Blues for the rest of the game, to take all 3 points back up the road.
The defeat leaves Chelsea in 6th place with 48 points from the 30 games completed.
Chelsea face Paris Saint-Germain at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday, trailing 5-2 from the 1st-leg of the last-16 Champions League tie.
Chelsea gained the home win over Everton in the reverse fixture at Stamford Bridge back in December.
First-half goals from Cole Palmer and Malo Gusto gave Enzo Maresca’s Blues the victory over David Moyes’ Blues from a 2-0 scoreline.
Betfred offer Everton at 12/5, the Draw at 5/2 and Evens 1/1 for Chelsea to come away with all 3-points.
Betfred offer 5/1 that Cole Palmer Scores First and slight Odds On 4/6 that Both Teams Score.

20.00 in England
TNT Sport
Leeds United were one of the 9 teams that failed to score over the weekend and were part of the games that produced a 0-0 scoreline, in their fixture against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
Leeds did have a player sent off, with Gabriel Gudmundsson receiving 2 Yellow Cards and the subsequent Red, the 2nd Yellow being shown on the stroke of half-time, leaving Leeds a man down for the whole of the 2nd-half.
Fortunately for the Travelling West Yorkshire Puddings who made the trip down to South London, their White Idols held on for a point.
Leeds sit in 15th place with 32 points from 30 games played, edging closer to safety, however, still only 3 points above the relegation zone.
Tottenham have 30 points and Nottingham Forest and West Ham have 29 but the good thing for Leeds, is that Tottenham face Forest this weekend so both will take points off each other.
Probably the best result Daniel Farke would want is for Tottenham to draw with Forest and if Leeds can manage a win over Brentford, it’s a win/win situation for the Whites.
There was a head count after the game, with a few of the West Yorkshire Puddings missing, last seen heading the wrong way towards the Channel Tunnel singing their famous ditty,
‘Marching On Together!’
Brentford snatched a draw from the jaws of victory against Wolves on Monday Night Football.
Goals from Michael Kayode and Igor Thiago, gave the Bees a 2-goal lead after 37 minutes.
Wolves pulled a goal back to halve the deficit at the break.
It was then heartache for the Bees faithful in attendance at the GTech Stadium when Wolves scored a 2nd with 12 minutes remaining and held on to give both teams a point apiece from a draw by a 2-2 scoreline.
Brentford remain in 7th place, now with 45 points from 30 games played, still in the hunt for a European place next season.
Both teams shared the points from a draw by a 1-1 score when the two met at the GTech Stadium back in December.
Following a goalless 1st-half, Jordan Henderson scored the Bees’ goal in the 70th minute with Dominic Calvert-Lewin getting the Leeds equaliser 12 minutes later, to give both a point apiece.
Betfred offer Leeds United at 7/5, the Draw at 23/10 and 7/4 for Brentford to come away with all 3-points.

NEWCASTLE v SUNDERLAND

The Tyne-Wear Derby!
Newcastle got a brilliant away-day victory over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
A single Anthony Gordon goal, scored in the 18th minute gave the Magpies all 3 points from a 1-0 scoreline.
The win leaves Newcastle sitting in 9th place with 42 points from 30 games played.
Newcastle head to Spain on Wednesday to finish off the last-16 Champions League tie against Barcelona at the Nou Camp.
The game is evenly poised at 1-1 from the 1st-leg.
After a goalless 1st-half in the clash between Sunderland and Brighton at the Stadium of Light on Saturday, the Black Cats thought they had scored in the 49th minute, however, the dreaded VAR got involved and ruled that Omar Alderete was offside before Chris Riggs put the ball into the net.
Ten minutes later, Brighton scored a legitimate goal to knock the stuffing out of the home fans in attendance.
The defeat by a 1-0 scoreline leaves Sunderland in 13th place with the same 40 points as Brighton, both having completed 30 games.
It was Sunderland who gained the Tyne-Wear Bragging Rights when the two met at the Stadium of Light just before Christmas.
The unfortunate Nick Woltemade, who has struggled to score goals for Newcastle, managed to score an Own Goal for Sunderland, giving the Black Cats the victory over the Magpies from a 1-0 scoreline, making Big Nick an unlikely Sunderland hero.
Betfred offer Newcastle at slight Odds On 3/5, the Draw at 11/4 and 9/2 for Sunderland to come away with all 3-points.
Betfred offer 4/1 that Anthony Gordon Scores First and 3/1 that Newcastle Win Both Halves.

ASTON VILLA v WEST HAM
14.15 in England

The Claret and Blue Derby!
Aston Villa have now lost their last 3 Premier League games, following the defeat against Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Added to those 3 losses, was a draw in the Premier League and then being knocked out of the FA Cup.
The only victory in the last 6 games was the Europa League 1st-leg tie against Lille, which probably tells everyone what the priority is for Unai Emery and his Villa team.
Remember, Unai has won the Europa League 4 times, so he knows the importance of winning that particular tournament which gains automatic entry into next season’s Champions League.
Following the defeat against Manchester United by a 3-1 scoreline (Ross Barkley with the Villa goal, scored to equalise United’s opener), Aston Villa stay in 4th place with 51 points.
Liverpool are 5th with 49 points and Chelsea are 6th with 48 points.
Despite the loss, there wasn’t much damage done with Liverpool only managing to draw against Tottenham and Chelsea suffering a defeat.
If Liverpool hadn’t conceded against Tottenham and held on for the win, added to a Chelsea victory, Aston Villa would have dropped down to 6th, so to remain 4th is a bonus for everyone connected to the Villains.
Brentford have quietly remained in 7th place with 45 points.
Aston Villa host Lille on Thursday in the 2nd-leg of the last-16 Europa League tie, currently holding a 1-0 lead from the game in France.
West Ham did a couple of things in their Saturday Night Football against Man City at the London Stadium.
One was to come away with a point from a draw by a 1-1 score, with Konstantinos Mavropanos scoring the Hammers’ equaliser in the 35th minute, 4 minutes after City had taken the lead, to give both teams a point apiece.
The second thing was, following the draw against Man City, effectively, the result decided the destination of the Premier League title, restricting City to just gaining a point which gave Arsenal a 9-point advantage at the summit.
One thing that will please Nuno Espírito Santo, is the fact that his current team West Ham, have the same points as Nottingham Forest and are just a point adrift of Tottenham, where Nuno was sacked from both and as the two previous clubs play each other this weekend, a win for the Hammers would drop one of the two, into the bottom 3, regardless of the result of that particular fixture.
16- Tottenham- scored 40/conceded 47 (minus-7)- 30 pts
17- Nottingham Forest- scored 28/conceded 43 (minus-15)- 29 pts
18- West Ham- scored 36/ conceded 55 (minus-19)- 29 pts
19- Burnley- scored 32/
conceded 58 (minus-26)- 20 pts
20- Wolves- scored 22/
conceded 52 (minus-30)- 16 pts
The Game Week-16 encounter at the London Stadium produced a 5-goal thriller, with Aston Villa edging out West Ham, gaining a victory from a 3-2 scoreline.
West Ham actually scored all 3, 1st-half goals, with Mateus Fernandes and Jarrod Bowen registering for the home team and the unfortunate Konstantinos Mavropanos gifting the away team by scoring an Own Goal, leaving the Hammers in front at the break.
It was then the Morgan Rogers show, with Morgan scoring twice for Villa, in the 2nd-half, to give the away Claret and Blue the victory over the home team.
Betfred offer Aston Villa at slight Odds On 10/11, the Draw at 13/5 and 13/5 for West Ham to come away with all 3-points.
Betfred offer 4/1 that Ollie Watkins Scores First and 8/5 that Jarrod Bowen Scores Anytime.

TOTTENHAM v NOTTINGHAM FOREST
14.15 in England
Sky Sports
Tottenham snatched a draw from the jaws of defeat against Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday.
After conceding a Reds goal in the 1st-half and trailing right up to the 90th minute, Richarlison scored an equaliser to give Tottenham a well-deserved point from a draw by a 1-1 score.
It was well deserved as despite Spurs not being that good over the past few weeks/months, Igor Tudor’s boys put in a great shift to upset the home team.
A quick note regarding the Tottenham youngster Archie Gray, who has been a shining light in a dark period for Tottenham.
It might be too late for the Leeds Lad to make the plane for the World Cup this Summer but it wouldn’t be a surprise if Thomas Tuchel picks Young Archie in the England squad for the friendlies at the end of the month.
What a great fixture to round off Game Week-31 and a brilliant precursor to the Carabao Cup Final which will kick off immediately after this game at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
When the Premier League Fixture Compilers sorted out the Game Week-31 affairs back in June 2025 and the LilyWhite and Tricky Trees faithful were perusing the upcoming season’s fixtures, it’s unlikely that anyone could have imagined how the season would progress.
Tottenham started the campaign with Thomas Frank as the Manager, after sacking Ange Postecoglou before the season started.
Big Ange was then appointed as Nottingham Forest’s second Boss of the campaign, after Forest had sacked Nuno Espírito Santo.
Ange Postecoglou didn’t last long at the City Ground and was replaced by Sean Dyche, who himself, didn’t last long, being replaced by Vitor Pereira, making VP the fourth Nottingham Forest Manager of the season.
Tottenham themselves are onto their second Boss of the campaign, following Thomas Frank being sacked and replaced by Igor Tudor who is currently the Interim Manager.
Nine months and several Managers later, both meet at Tottenham’s Swanky Stadium in the ultimate relegation battle, with Tottenham sitting in 16th place with 30 points, a point more than Forest in 17th with 29 points.
Forest have the same 29 points as West Ham who occupy the final place in the relegation zone, purely on goal difference.
16- Tottenham- scored 40/conceded 47 (minus-7)- 30 pts
17- Nottingham Forest- scored 28/conceded 43 (minus-15)- 29 pts
18- West Ham- scored 36/ conceded 55 (minus-19)- 29 pts
19- Burnley- scored 32/
conceded 58 (minus-26)- 20 pts
20- Wolves- scored 22/
conceded 52 (minus-30)- 16 pts
Both teams play the 2nd-leg of their respective European encounters before this relegation battle, with Tottenham facing Atletico Madrid at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Wednesday, currently trailing 5-2 from the 1st-leg of the Champions League last-16.
Nottingham Forest are also trailing against Midtjylland, with the Danes gaining a 1-0 lead in the 1st-leg of the Europa League last-16 tie at the City Ground.
Nottingham Forest gained a point from a draw by a 0-0 score, against Fulham at the City Ground on Sunday.
Despite neither team scoring, it was an important point gained for the Tricky Trees, especially considering that West Ham also got a point and had temporarily swapped places with Forest, dropping Vitor Pereira’s men into the relegation zone.
Sean Dyche’s Forest team gained the home win over Thomas Frank’s Tottenham when the two teams met at the City Ground back in December.
Goals from Callum Hudson-Odoi (2) and Ibrahim Sangare gave the Tricky Trees the victory over Spurs from a 3-0 scoreline.
Betfred offer Tottenham at 7/5, the Draw at 12/5 and 7/4 for Nottingham Forest to come away with all 3-points.
Betfred offer 5/1 that Richarlison Scores First and 12/5 that Tottenham Score in Both Halves.
(If your pre-match First Goalscorer bet scores First and then scores a Second, Betfred DOUBLE the odds.
If they score a Third, Betfred TREBLE the odds.)
