Everytip’s John Newsome Nominated For Best Gambling Content Creator At The 2019 Football Blogging Awards
Everytip.co.uk’s football columnist John Newsome has been shortlisted to win the Best Gambling Content Creator award at this year’s Football Blogging Awards (FBAs), which are held on the 9th May at the Etihad Stadium, Manchester.
The FBAs nominations stage saw over 144,000 nominations with over 2,000 different blogs, podcasts, YouTubers, influencers and vloggers nominated. The finalists were chosen using the nominations of football fans around the world and the decision of the event judges and organisers.
John Newsome’s has been a weekly contributor to Everytip.co.uk since 2017 and has built up a large and loyal following, where he vents his views and thoughts on football and the Premier League, in particular. John hails from Barnsley, UK and has followed Barnsley FC since he was 6 years old, and is where his love for football began. He has visited every ground in the country, along with numerous excursions outside of the UK, such as the Nou Camp in Barcelona and San Siro in Milan.
According to John, “Football is my life, it determines me and dictates how I live. I am extremely grateful of Every Tip allowing me to vent my views and thoughts on football and the Premier League and hope I do justice to their commitment to football”.
However, there is more to Johns back story than simply a love of football and he is immensely proud to say that football has helped him get through difficult periods of his life. John states “I am a member of the MIND charity who are partners with the English Football League and who are strong on mental health. During tough times, I have used football to help me through my life and feel the game can be the trigger that helps people turn their owns lives around. MIND is a wonderful charity and will help anyone who feels in need.”
John also would like to advise that “MIND are there to help anyone who feels life is too difficult. Contact MIND or the Samaritans if you feel life is becoming too hard. No one in 2019 should feel alone and no one should feel that desperate so feel free to speak to someone.”
We would like to thank everyone who voted for John and we look forward to hearing a favourable result on the 9th May.
