Find all previous Seymour Biz racing previews in his weekly column: Saturday Horse Racing Tips.
With the country in the grip of the Second Ice Age, there is no jump racing on Saturday with the scheduled meetings at Ascot and Haydock lost due to frozen tracks so ITV will have to look elsewhere for racing to fill its Saturday programme.
There are two all-weather meetings due to go ahead at Chelmsford and Lingfield and it’s the latter that holds my interest due to the better class of racing on the card.
There are four races that are due off after the ITV programme’s start time at 1.15. So I have concentrated on those races to try and find some value and here are my thoughts for this week’s Lucky Fifteen.

1.50 Real Estate

The 1.15 at Lingfield is the BetUK Over 40,000 Live Streamed Races Handicap is a 5-furlong sprint. There are several course and distance winners in the lineup including the top weight The Defiant trained by Daniel Steele who won here in August but looks too high in the weights.
Adrian Nicholls’s Pepper Streak won at Newcastle in February but has failed to follow up on that win.
I like Dean Ivory’s Yimou who has come down the handicap and ran a fine second at Chelmsford recently.
The BetUK’s Accra Club £5 Free Bet Handicap is at 1.50 and is run over 6 furlongs. Michael Attwater’s Lothian could go off favourite here after a fine second last time at Kempton in October.
But I prefer Attwater’s other runner, Real Estate, who won here in July, since then his form has been iffy but this race looks ideal for him.
At 2.25 it is the Top Odds Every Day With BetUK Handicap a 1m 4f contest. Gay Kellaway’s Central City has joint top weight and he won well at Southwell in September but his weight may be a factor here.
Gary Moore’s Capricorn Prince has fine form on the all-weather winning six times in 19 starts. He won here in March and is sure to go close.
Ummsuquaim trained by Jean-Rene Auvray won here last time out at the end of November and I see no reason why he shouldn’t go in again in a contest like this.
The big race of the day is at 3.33, the BetUK Quebec Stakes, a Listed contest run over 1m2f. Algiers trained by Ed and Simon Crisford was a close second in a Listed race here last month and will probably be the favourite to make amends for that defeat.
However, John and Thady Gosden have two in the race Forest Of Dean and Harrovian and it is the latter that I fancy. He was 3rd behind Algiers last month but had to switch to make headway at the three-furlong pole. I think he can improve on that run.
