Weekend Premier League Football Correct Score Betting Tips – 10th, 11th & 12th February 2018

John Newsome Football Betting Tips - everytipThe North-London derby heads west to Wembley and John Newsome foresees a cracking encounter, taking place. You can view all previous analysis from John’s weekly column here – English Premier League Football Predictions For Saturday.

TOTTENHAM v ARSENAL
A cracker of a game to start off the weekend, in front of the BT Sports cameras. The North London derby is always a feisty affair and for years Arsenal were the dominant force. Tottenham are slowly edging above Arsenal and should be favourites to win this game, especially being the home side. They played in a fabulous game on Sunday against top 4 rivals Liverpool gaining a last minute equalizer. Harry Kane scored his 100th Premier League goal with a penalty, however, he missed an earlier penalty so could have had 101. Arsenal hammered Everton on Saturday night with an Aaron Ramsey hat trick included in the 5-1 thrashing. That said, they don’t perform as good, away from the “Emirates” and Tottenham will try and avenge the 2-0 loss when the teams met in November. There will be goals in an entertaining draw.
Draw 2-2

EVERTON v CRYSTAL PALACE
Everton will want to bounce back after Saturday’s heavy defeat to Arsenal. In that game, Sam Allardyce picked a strange negative side, leaving Wayne Rooney and Gylfi Sigurdsson on the bench. He stated afterwards that he was following Swansea’s tactics but football doesn’t work like that. Everton, like most teams, tend to play better at home and these 2 should return to the starting 11. Crystal Palace are playing well at the moment and got a draw against Newcastle last time out. Luka Milivojevic scored a penalty in that game, His 3rd in a row. 4 points separate these 2 sides so both will be going all out to win. The score was 2-2 at “Selhurst Park” and another draw is forecast.
Draw 1-1

STOKE v BRIGHTON
Since Paul Lambert took over as manager of Stoke, he has experienced all 3 possible results. A win in his 1st game, a draw in his 2nd and a defeat last weekend away at Bournemouth. The win and the draw came at the “bet365” stadium so he will try and get Stoke back to winning ways in front of their faithful fans. Brighton got a much-needed win against West Ham last time out, with Glenn Murray getting his obligatory goal. Stoke are in the relegation places at the moment, 3 points behind Brighton so will target this proverbial “6” pointer to climb up the table. This game also finished 2-2 at the “Amex” and the points will be shared again.
Draw 1-1

SWANSEA v BURNLEY
Swansea are on fire at the moment and have climbed off the bottom of the table and out of the bottom 3. Under new manager Carlos Carvahal they have beaten Liverpool and Arsenal and followed that up with another great result, drawing against Leicester. Burnley themselves got a great result last Saturday getting a valuable much-deserved point against leaders Man City. Burnley beat the “Swans” 2-0 in November but this will be tougher for the “Clarets”. There won’t be many goals in an entertaining draw.
Draw 1-1

WEST HAM v WATFORD
West Ham have not won in 3 since the injuries to Lanzini and Arnautovic so will be hoping these 2 are back pretty soon. They were surprisingly beaten at Brighton last weekend and are now just 3 points behind Watford. They, like most people, weren’t expecting Watford to get a win against Chelsea on Monday night. Watford inflicted the second defeat in a row on Chelsea and something is not quite right at Stamford Bridge. That’s for the “Blues” to worry about and the “Hornets” will carry the confidence gained from that result into the “London Stadium”. They beat the “Hammers” 2-0 the last time they met but with home advantage, West Ham can share the points.
Draw 1-1

MAN CITY v LEICESTER
This is the late Saturday evening kick-off, live on Sky Sports. High Flying City are back at the “ETIHAD” and rarely drop points here. Apart from the first home game against Everton, which ended in a draw, they have collected 3 points in every home game since. They score goals too. Burnley took a point off them last Saturday, but in that game, Raheem Sterling missed an absolute sitter, so it could be argued that they should have won. Leicester got a draw last weekend, Jamie Vardy getting his weekly goal. City beat the “Foxes” 2-0 at the “King Power”. Ryad Mahrez is missing again and Leicester, although they have improved of late, won’t beat City away.
Home Win 4-1

HUDDERSFIELD v BOURNEMOUTH
Sunday morning football at the “John Smiths Stadium” live on BT Sports. Huddersfield have slipped to 2nd from bottom of the table, after the defeat to Manchester United. They are now starting to realise how difficult the Premier League is and have slowly found their level. They picked up some valuable points and notable wins earlier on in the season but have now not won in 8 and teams have begun to work them out. In contrast, Bournemouth are on a roll and have not lost in 7, beating Stoke last week off the back of a great 3-0 win at Chelsea. On current form, like at the “Liberty” in November, they will beat the “Terriers”.
Away Win 0-2

NEWCASTLE v MAN UNITED
Newcastle have drawn 3 out of their last 4 games, all with scores of 1-1.
The 4th being a loss to Man City, so no disgrace in recent results. United benefited from the Liverpool v Tottenham draw and the Chelsea loss, cementing their 2nd place position. The quality and class of Manchester is way too good for Newcastle and will prevail. At Old Trafford in November, United beat Newcastle 4-1, this game should be closer but the outcome will be the same with a United win.
Away Win 0-2

SOUTHAMPTON v LIVERPOOL
Southampton were in the bottom 3 briefly last week but got a much-needed win against West Brom to get them quickly out. The “Saints” signed Guido Carrillo from Monaco and was thrust straight into the starting lineup for that game. He didn’t manage to score on his debut but played for 74 minutes before being substituted and will be happy with the contribution he made to get the first win in 12. Liverpool were in front twice against Tottenham but had to settle for a draw after a late penalty from “Spurs”
Mo Salah couldn’t get a game at Chelsea and had to go to Roma to get his career back on track. Now he’s 1 goal behind Harry Kane in the goalscoring charts. Virgil Van Dijk will no doubt get some stick returning to “St Marys” but will want to perform well for his new club. Liverpool won 3-0 at Anfield but this should be closer. There will be goals.
Draw 2-2

CHELSEA v WEST BROM
Chelsea play again on Monday Night Football live on Sky Sports. A few weeks back, this would have been a Home win, but somethings gone wrong at Stamford Bridge and the “Blues” have lost their last 2 games. Antonio Conte appears to have had a vote of confidence and certainly needs a change of fortune. They have missed Alvaro Morata and will use this game against bottom of the table West Brom to try and get back to winning ways. West Brom are really struggling and lost again last Saturday in front of their home fans. They took an early lead in that game against Southampton but couldn’t hold out and eventually lost 3-2. Chelsea beat the “Albion” 4-0 in November and shouldn’t lose this one, but on current form, might find it more difficult than that game.
Away win 0-2
