Seven from Game Week-15 and 3 from 19.
Tuesday 01st
ARSENAL v FULHAM
19.45 in England
Arsenal gained a narrow victory over Chelsea last time out.
A single Mikel Merino goal scored in the 1st-half at the Emirates gave the Gunners the points from a 1-0 scoreline.
A draw was predicted in this EveryTip column, however, although it didn’t materialise, it’s worth remembering that when predicting football results, always take into account who is playing on the day.
When the team sheet was handed in around an hour and a half before kickoff, Chelsea had omitted Cole Palmer due to illness.
Who turns out on the day can have a big bearing on the outcome of the game.
Arsenal have 58 points and remain in 2nd place, now 12 points adrift of Liverpool with both teams having 9 games remaining.
Mikel’s Young Guns did progress to the Quarter-Finals of the Champions League and will face Real Madrid over 2 legs starting on the 8th of April at the Emirates and then on the 16th at the Bernabeu.
Whilst Arsenal were entertaining Chelsea at the Emirates, Fulham were taking on Tottenham at Craven Cottage with Marco Silva’s Boys gaining a home victory over Ange Postecoglou’s Spurs by a 2-0 scoreline.
Rodrigo Muniz and Ryan Sessegnon with the Fulham goals, both coming late in the 2nd-half.
The win leaves Fulham in 8th place with the same 45 points as Aston Villa both having completed 29 fixtures.
Fulham took on Crystal Palace in the FA Cup Quarter-Final, however, despite being at their Craven Cottage home, the Cottagers were knocked out of said Cup by the Eagles from a 3-0 scoreline, so now can fully concentrate on finishing as high as possible in the Premier League.
Both teams shared the points from a draw by a 1-1 score when the two met at Craven Cottage in December.
Raul Jimenez scored the Fulham goal after 11 minutes to give the home team a lead at the break.
William Saliba scored the equaliser for Arsenal just after the restart and with no further goals both Londoners gained a point apiece.
Betfred offer Arsenal at Odds On 2/5, the Draw at 16/5 and 7/1 for Fulham to come away with all 3-points.
Betfred offer 11/2 that Mikel Merino Scores First and 18/5 that Raul Jimenez Scores Anytime.
(If your pre-match First Goalscorer bet scores First and then scores a Second, Betfred DOUBLE the odds.
If they score a Third, Betfred TREBLE the odds.)

WOLVES v WEST HAM
19.45 in England
Jorgen Strand-Larsen scored twice to earn Wolves the victory over Southampton at St Mary’s before the International Break.
The Saints did score after Jorgen’s 2nd which ultimately was just a consolation leaving Wolves with the away day win from a 2-1 scoreline.
Wolves stay in 17th place, with 26 points, just above the relegation zone but now have a gap of 9 points between themselves and Ipswich and Leicester who both have 17 points.
Southampton have 9 and are all but gone.
Basically, it would mean that Wolves would have to lose at least 4 of the remaining 9 games and either Ipswich or Leicester win the 4 to leave Vitor’s Gold and Blacks in danger of relegation.
Whilst the Large Lady isn’t singing just yet, she is warming up the vocal cords and Wolves should be good for another year in the Promised Land.
West Ham come into this fixture at Molineux off the back of a draw against Everton last time out.
After a goalless 1st-half, Tomas Soucek scored to give the Hammers a lead, however, when it appeared that a win was on the cards, the Toffees scored an equaliser in the 91st minute to give both teams a share of the points from a 1-1 scoreline.
West Ham sit in 16th place with the same 34 points as Everton and Tottenham, all having completed 29 games.
If one remembers the Game Week-15 encounter between these two at the London Stadium, was billed as ‘El Sackio’ as it was assumed that the losing Manager would be sacked.
Whilst that wasn’t necessarily the case, following West Ham gaining the home victory over Wolves, both Julen Lopetegui and Gary O’Neil did eventually lose their jobs, with Julen lasting a further 5 Premier League games and Gary just 1 before both were down the concrete.
Goals from Tomas Soucek and Jarrod Bowen gave the Hammers the win over Wolves by a 2-1 scoreline.
Matt Doherty scored to equalise Tomas’s opener before Jarrod got the winner.
It’s now Graham Potter taking on Vitor Pereira in the ‘Clash of the W’s!’
Betfred offer Wolves at 11/8, the Draw at 21/10 and 2/1 for West Ham to come away with all 3-points.
Betfred offer 17/2 that Pablo Sarabia Scores First and 11/4 that Wolves Score in Both Halves
(If your pre-match First Goalscorer bet scores First and then scores a Second, Betfred DOUBLE the odds.
If they score a Third, Betfred TREBLE the odds.)

NOTTINGHAM FOREST v MANCHESTER UNITED
20.00 in England
TNT Sports
Nottingham Forest remain in 3rd place with 54 points from the opening 29 fixtures completed, following a victory over Ipswich before the International Break.
Nikola Milenkovic scored first before Anthony Elanga added a double to give Forest a comfortable lead at the interval.
Jota Silva added a 4th late on, after Ipswich had pulled a goal back and before the Tractor Boys then scored a 2nd, leaving Nuno’s Tricky Trees with the win from a 4-2 score.
The Forest faithful will just hope that their idols stay in the Top Four/Five to gain entry into next season’s Champions League.
It was then a game against Brighton on Saturday in the Quarter-Final of the FA Cup.
After the 90 and 120 minutes finished in a goalless draw, the game went to a penalty shootout, where Forest won their 3rd of 3 in this year’s FA Cup.
There was also a penalty shootout in the Carabao Cup, where Forest lost that one to the eventual winners Newcastle.
Forest now face Man City in the last-4 at Wembley at the end of April.
Manchester United come into this fixture at the City Ground off the back of victory over Leicester at the King Power last time out in the Premier League.
Goals from Rasmus Hojlund, Alejandro Garnacho and Bruno Fernandes gave Ruben Amorim a much-needed win over Ruud Van Nistelrooy from a 3-0 away day score.
That leaves United in 13th place with 37 points from the 29 games played.
Manchester United have progressed to the Quarter-Finals of the Europa League and will face Lyon in a 2-legged affair starting on the 10th of April in France and then the week after in England.
News emerged this week, that Chelsea have an obligation to buy Jadon Sancho at the end of the season for £25 Million.
If that doesn’t happen, Chelsea have to pay United £5 Million as a penalty.
So Chelsea have to pay either £5 Million for nothing or £25 Million for Jadon.
Football, it’s a funny old game!
Nottingham Forest gained the away day victory over Manchester United back in December at Old Trafford.
Nikola Milenkovic scored first for Forest after just 2 minutes, with Rasmus Hojlund equalising for United midway through the 1st-half to take both teams in level at the break.
Morgan Gibbs-White and Chris Wood scored for the Tricky Trees early in the 2nd-half to make it 1-3, with Bruno Fernandes adding a 2nd for the home team on the hour mark.
With no further goals, Forest gained the win from a 2-3 scoreline.
There was a famous fixture between these two teams that took place at the City Ground back in February 1999.
On the 41st anniversary of the Munich Air Disaster, Manchester United gained an amazing away day victory over Nottingham Forest by a sensational 1-8 score.
As well as the scoreline being sensational, the added extra to the fixture for the watching faithful in attendance was Ole Gunnar Solskjaer scored 4 goals as a substitute, getting his first in the 80th minute, then the rest over the next 10 minutes.
80, 87, 90 and 90+1.
Betfred offer Nottingham Forest at 6/5, the Draw at 12/5 and 2/1 for Manchester United to come away with all 3-points.
Betfred offer 4/1 that Chris Wood Scores First and slight Odds On 5/6 that there are Over 2.5 Goals.
(9/4 that there are Over 3.5 Goals)
(If your pre-match First Goalscorer bet scores First and then scores a Second, Betfred DOUBLE the odds.
If they score a Third, Betfred TREBLE the odds.)

Wednesday 02nd
BOURNEMOUTH v IPSWICH
19.45 in England
Bournemouth are now winless from the last 4 Premier League games, with 3 Losses and a Draw in those 4.
The latest fixture before the International Break, saw the Cherries suffer a defeat against Brentford by a 2-1 score, with a Brentford player being credited with Bournemouth’s solitary goal.
The Cherries sit in 10th place with 44 points from 29 fixtures completed.
In between those 4 Premier League games, Bournemouth progressed to the Quarter-Final of the FA Cup and faced Man City at the Vitality on Sunday.
Despite taking the lead against City and seeing Kepa Arrizabalaga save an Erling Haaland penalty, Man City came out stronger in the 2nd-half to ultimately get the victory and end the Cherries FA Cup dreams.
Ipswich remain in 18th place with the same 17 points as Leicester both having just 9 games remaining.
The Tractor Boys suffered their 4th defeat in a row, this time against Nottingham Forest before the International Break.
Jens Cajuste and George Hirst did score late on for Ipswich but Forest scored 4, to leave the Tractor Boys with the loss from a 4-2 scoreline.
George Hirst is the son of the ex-Barnsley, Sheffield Wednesday and Southampton Striker David Hirst who was born and bred in Barnsley.
That said, Young George who was born in Sheffield when David was playing for the Owls and has played for England at Under/17/18/19 and 20 level, has decided to play International Football for Scotland and had a run out against Greece over the recent weekend.
‘Och Aye The Noo George!’
It’s now a matter of when, not if, that Ipswich are relegated back to the Championship.
Southampton, with 9 points are all but gone and with just 17 points, both Leicester and Ipswich will be the others that join the Saints being relegated, with Wolves who are the safe team having 9 points more than both and a massive 17 more than Southampton.
Added to that, Wolves have a far superior goal difference than all 3 in the relegation zone, so it would take an extraordinary set of results over the remaining 9 fixtures for Wolves to be dragged into the relegation battle.
Despite Conor Chaplin scoring first for Ipswich to give the home team a lead at the break when these two met at Portman Rd back in December, it was Bournemouth that came away with a victory from a 1-2 scoreline.
Enes Unal and Dango Outtara scored the Cherries goals late on to give Bournemouth the win.
Betfred offer Bournemouth at Odds On 1/3, the Draw at 4/1 and 13/2 for Ipswich to come away with all 3-points.
Betfred offer 5/1 that Justin Kluivert Scores First and 5/4 that there are Over 3.5 Goals.
(If your pre-match First Goalscorer bet scores First and then scores a Second, Betfred DOUBLE the odds.
If they score a Third, Betfred TREBLE the odds.)

BRIGHTON v ASTON VILLA
19.45 in England
Brighton gained a great point from a draw by a 2-2 score, against Man City at the Etihad last time out.
A Pervis Estupinan strike and a Man City Own Goal both coming after City had scored, earned the Seagulls a brilliant away day point which left Fabian Hurzeler’s Men unbeaten in the previous 7 games, 5 in the Premier League and 2 FA Cup victories.
The FA Cup victory over Newcastle after a penalty shootout saw Brighton take on Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
Brighton were eventually knocked out following another penalty shootout, this time suffering a loss against Nottingham Forest after the game ended in a draw by a 0-0 score.
The Seagulls sit in 7th place with the same 47 points as Newcastle, however, Brighton have completed the full 29 games on offer, whereas Newcastle have only played 28 times.
Aston Villa sit 2 places and 2 points below today’s hosts in 9th with 45 points from the 29 fixtures so far.
In the last Premier League game before the International Break, Villa gained the away day victory over Brentford by a 1-0 scoreline.
Ollie Watkins with the solitary winning goal early in the 2nd-half at the GTech.
That fixture was on the 8th of March in the Game Week-28 affair, with Villa’s Game Week-29 encounter already played due to Liverpool competing in the Carabao Cup Final.
Aston Villa have played in the 2nd-leg of the Champions League since the victory over Brentford and progressed to the Quarter-Finals of that particular competition, where Unai’s Claret and Blues will face Paris Saint-Germain on the 9th and 15th of April.
If successful, Villa will face either Arsenal or Real Madrid in the Semi-Final.
Before this midweek clash against Brighton, Villa also had a run out in the FA Cup and took on Preston in the Quarter-Final.
Despite the 1st-half being goalless at Deepdale, Villa’s Premier League class shone through seeing Unai’s Claret and Blues progress to the Semi-Final and will now face Crystal Palace at Wembley.
Both teams shared the points from a draw by a 2-2 score when these two met at Villa Park for the Game Week-19 affair at the end of December.
Simon Adingra scored the opener for Brighton before an Ollie Watkins’ converted penalty for Villa made the scores level at the break.
Morgan Rogers scored for Villa just after the restart with Tariq Lamptey getting the equaliser in the 81st minute to give both teams a point apiece from the Archbishops’ favourite scoreline.
Betfred offer Brighton at Evens 1/1, the Draw at 11/4 and 11/5 for Aston Villa to come away with all 3-points.
Betfred offer that Ollie Watkins Scores First and that Odds On 1/2 that Both Teams Score.
(If your pre-match First Goalscorer bet scores First and then scores a Second, Betfred DOUBLE the odds.
If they score a Third, Betfred TREBLE the odds.)

MAN CITY v LEICESTER
19.45 in England
Probably when a team are struggling to gain any momentum in the Premier League, a visit from a Sorry Set of Foxes is just what the vet ordered.
Man City’s last 2 Premier League fixtures have produced a Draw and a Loss, meaning just 1 point from a possible 6.
So the visit of Leicester is probably just what Pep Guardiola needs at this moment.
City gained a point from a draw by a 2-2 score against Brighton at the Etihad before the International Break.
An Erling Haaland converted penalty and an Omar Marmoush goal, both scored in the 1st-half earned City a much-needed point against the Seagulls.
The unfortunate Abdukodir Khusanov was credited with Brighton’s second goal.
The point gained from the Archbishop’s favourite scoreline leaves Man City in 5th place with 48 points from 29 games completed.
Pep will want his team to score a few today against a very poor Leicester team.
Before this game against the Foxes, Man City headed to the South Coast to take on Bournemouth in the Quarter-Final of the FA Cup.
Despite Erling Haaland missing a penalty and a couple of great chances, Man City eventually prevailed and progressed to their 7th Semi-Final in a row, taking place at Wembley, with Nottingham Forest as the opponents at the end of April.
As stated already, the aforementioned Leicester are just terrible at the moment and like a lame Fox, waiting for the equivalent of the Farmer with a gun, that being the end of the season, to come along and be put out of their misery.
Leicester suffered (another) defeat last time out, this time against Manchester United at the King Power by a 3-0 score.
That was the 6th Premier League defeat in a row and the 13th out of the last 14 Top Flight fixtures, with just 1 Win coming in those 14 games and that was against a poor Tottenham team.
In the 13 defeats from the 14 games, Leicester have scored just 2 goals and failed to score in 11 of those 13, with no goals in the last 6.
Ruud’s side are now in fact the first in English Top Flight history to have that unwanted feat.
In the last 7 home games at the King Power, the dejected and jaded Foxes Faithful have not seen their idols score.
Ruud Van Nistelrooy (Tra-La-La-La-Lar) has just struggled to get over his methods to a poor set of Leicester players who seem to think the answer is,
‘knock the ball up to a pensioner who is on his last legs as a Premier League Striker.’
The Sheffield Superstar that is Jamie Vardy, will always put in a shift but at 38 years old, the ‘Old Boy’ needs help.
It’s more than likely that Leicester will be relegated this term, so hypothetically, if the Foxes can gain promotion at the end of the 2025/26 Championship season, Jamie Vardy will be 40 in January 2027, which will be halfway through the 2026/27 campaign.
Can JV play in the Premier League aged 40?
No doubt the Foxes Faithful will want to see that but that’s on the basis that Leicester come straight back up.
If that doesn’t happen, these next few weeks may just see Jamie Vardy’s Premier League swan song.
All the Best JV!
Leicester sit in 19th place with the same 17 points as Ipswich, both 9 points adrift of the safe team Wolves.
It’s now almost certain that for the 2nd time in a row and only the 3rd time in Premier League history, the 3 promoted teams from the Championship, will all be relegated after just 1 season in the Promised Land.
Man City gained the away day victory over Leicester in the Game Week-19 encounter at the King Power.
Goals from Savinho and Erling Haaland, one in each half, gave Pep’s Low Flyers the win from a 0-2 scoreline.
At the time, that was City’s first win in five games (4 Premier League and 1 Champions League.)
Considering Man City have recently gone 2 games without a win, it could be the perfect time for the Citizens to play Leicester at the Etihad.
Betfred offer Man City at Odds On 1/7, the Draw at 6/1 and 14/1 for Leicester to come away with all 3-points.
Betfred offer 9/4 that Erling Haaland Scores First and 21/20 that Man City Win Both Halves.
(If your pre-match First Goalscorer bet scores First and then scores a Second, Betfred DOUBLE the odds.
If they score a Third, Betfred TREBLE the odds.)

NEWCASTLE v BRENTFORD
19.45 in England
Newcastle’s last outing was on the 16th of March when Eddie’s Magpies won the Carabao Cup.
Probably the thing a team needs when a first domestic Trophy is gained in 70 years, is a break of 17 days, basically to recover from the celebrations.
Sometimes a team win a Cup, go on a celebration for a couple of days and then are back playing the following weekend, still hungover from the BabyChams.
The Newcastle players have no excuse to not perform in this home fixture against Brentford after having almost 3 weeks’ break.
The brilliant ‘Toon Army’ were the 12th Man against Liverpool at Wembley that saw the Carabao Cup head up the road to St James Park.
Newcastle last played in the Premier League on the 10th of March, which resulted in a victory away at West Ham by a 1-0 scoreline.
Bruno Guimaraes with the solitary winning goal.
With the Cup Final being the following weekend, it could have been assumed that the Magpies players would not be up for the task against the Hammers, however, that wasn’t the case.
The win leaves Newcastle in 6th place with the same 47 points as Brighton, however, the Magpies have played a game less (28) than the Seagulls (29) due to the Carabao Cup exploits.
Although the Carabao Cup win has guaranteed European Football for the Magpies next season, Eddie Howe will want to get as high as possible in the Table with 5th place and above more than likely being a Champions League spot.
Brentford come back after the International Break having gained a victory over Bournemouth at the Vitality last time out in the Premier League.
Goals from Vitaly Janelt, Yoane Wissa and Christian Norgaard gave Brentford the win from a 2-1 scoreline.
Whilst most will be scratching their heads at that sentence, Vitaly was credited with an Own Goal that gave Bournemouth an early lead before Yoane and Christian scored for the Bees.
Brentford sit in 11th place with 41 points from the full 29 games played.
Brentford gained the home victory over Newcastle by a 4-2 score when these two met for the Game Week-15 encounter at the GTech Stadium.
The goals going in as follows,
8′ Bryan Mbeumo (Brentford 1-0)
11′ Alexander Isak (Newcastle 1-1)
28′ Yoane Wissa (Brentford 2-1)
32′ Harvey Barnes (Newcastle 2-2)
Half-Time Chicken Balti Pie and Bovril.
56′ Nathan Collins (Brentford 3-2)
90′ Kevin Schade (Brentford 4-2)
Full-Time Cous-Cous and Pork Belly.
These two met 3 days later in the Carabao Cup which Newcastle progressed from a 3-1 score.
In last season’s fixture at the GTech which was the final game of the campaign, the score was the same 4-2 but this time in favour of Newcastle.
Which basically should mean that there are goals today.
Betfred offer Newcastle at Odds On 4/6, the Draw at 100/30 and 3/1 for Brentford to come away with all 3-points.
Betfred offer 3/1 that Alexander Isak Scores First and 15/8 that Yoane Wissa Scores Anytime.
(If your pre-match First Goalscorer bet scores First and then scores a Second, Betfred DOUBLE the odds.
If they score a Third, Betfred TREBLE the odds.)

SOUTHAMPTON v CRYSTAL PALACE
19.45 in England
The copy and paste from the last umpteen Southampton previews is once again on show following the Saints game before the International Break.
Southampton suffered a defeat last time out.
This time against Wolves at St Mary’s by a 2-1 score.
Paul Onuachu with the Saints goal after Wolves had scored twice.
That was the 5th loss in a row following a rare win against Ipswich which stopped the losing streak.
Southampton remain at the bottom of the Premier League Table with 9 points from 29 games.
With 9 games remaining, Southampton can only achieve a maximum of 36 points if victories are gained from all 9.
That won’t happen, so it’s now a matter of when not if the Saints relegation is confirmed which could be as soon as 2 games time, if Wolves win the next 2 and Southampton lose their next 2.
Crystal Palace come into this fixture against Southampton off the back of a victory over Ipswich by a 1-0 scoreline last time out in the Premier League.
Ismaila Sarr with the solitary winning goal.
That leaves Palace in 12th place with 39 points, however, due to Newcastle competing in the Carabao Cup Final, the Eagles have only completed 28 fixtures, not 29, so will feel there are a couple or more places to gain.
It was then an FA Cup Quarter-Final clash against fellow Londoners Fulham on Saturday which resulted in a brilliant victory for Oliver Glasner’s team who progressed to the Semi-Final from a 3-0 score and will now face Aston Villa at Wembley over the weekend of the 26th and 27th of April 2025.
Crystal Palace gained the home victory over Southampton at Selhurst Park in the Game Week-19 affair at the end of December.
Tyler Dibling scored the opener to give the Saints an early lead, however, Trevoh Chalobah equalised for the Eagles to take both teams in level at the break.
Eberechi Eze scored what turned out to be the winner, early in the 2nd-half, giving Palace the win from a 2-1 scoreline.
Betfred offer Southampton at 4/1, the Draw at 11/4 and Odds On 8/13 for Crystal Palace to come away with all 3-points.
Betfred offer 7/2 that Jean-Philippe Mateta Scores First and 7/4 that Crystal Palace Win To Nil.
(If your pre-match First Goalscorer bet scores First and then scores a Second, Betfred DOUBLE the odds.
If they score a Third, Betfred TREBLE the odds.)

LIVERPOOL v EVERTON
20.00 in England
Sky Sports
Liverpool come into this Merseyside Derby off the back of 2 defeats, 1 in the Champions League against Paris Saint-Germain and then the Carabao Cup Final loss against Newcastle.
PSG came to Anfield trailing by a goal to nil but then managed to score to make the tie level after the 2 legs.
Unfortunately for the Anfield Rappers, Arne’s Slot Machines were knocked out of the Champions League following a penalty shootout.
It was then the Carabao Cup Final against Newcastle at Wembley where the Magpies were just too good and inflicted the defeat on Liverpool.
Liverpool’s dominance in the Premier League is unwavering, remaining at the summit with 70 points from 29 games completed, now 12 points ahead of Arsenal.
It’s a matter of when not if Liverpool win their 20th Top Flight Title, matching Manchester United in that particular contest.
Arsenal can gain a maximum of 85 points with 9 straight wins in the remaining games.
Liverpool will get to 85 points if victories are achieved in the next 5.
Added to that, Arsenal have a couple of games against Real Madrid over the next 3 weeks, whereas Liverpool just have the Premier League to concentrate on.
The Title is going to Anfield, as mentioned, it really is just a matter of when not if.
Everton gained a point from a draw by a 1-1 score in the game against West Ham prior to the International Break.
Jake O’Brien with the late equaliser after the Hammers had taken the lead.
Since David Moyes took over from Sean Dyche, Everton have played 10 Premier League games, with a record of 4 Wins, 5 Draws and 1 Loss.
Whilst most will assume that Everton have improved under David and in truth, they probably have, there have been 5 Draws in the last 6 games, with the last 3 being the same 1-1 scoreline.
Everton sit in 15th place with the same 34 points as West Ham and Tottenham, all having completed 29 games.
The Game Week-15 encounter has only just taken place (February 12th) following the original fixture being postponed due to Storm Darragh that reaped havoc on Goodison Park.
Both teams shared the points from a draw by a 2-2 score in the rearranged fixture at Goodison Park with goals from Beto (Everton 1-0), Alexis Mac Allister (Liverpool 1-1), Mo Salah (Liverpool 1-2) and James Tarkowski (Everton 2-2).
The game just happened to be the final Merseyside Derby at Goodison Park with the scoreline of 2-2 being a fitting end to life in the Old Stadium, with Everton moving to a Swanky New Home for the start of the 2025/26 Premier League campaign.
Betfred offer Liverpool at Odds On 4/11, the Draw at 18/5 and 7/1 for Everton to come away with all 3-points.
Betfred offer 3/1 that Mo Salah Scores First and 11/10 that Liverpool Score in Both Halves
(If your pre-match First Goalscorer bet scores First and then scores a Second, Betfred DOUBLE the odds.
If they score a Third, Betfred TREBLE the odds.)

Thursday 03rd
CHELSEA v TOTTENHAM
20.00 in England
Sky Sports
Chelsea come back after the International Break following a defeat against Arsenal last time out.
A single Gunners goal scored in 1st-half was the difference in a tight London Derby which in truth, both teams were not at their best and neither had any real firepower up Top.
The Blues did progress to the Quarter-Final of the Europa Conference League and will face Legia Warsaw in a 2-legged affair starting in Poland on the 10th of April with the return leg at Stamford Bridge the week after.
Chelsea sit in 4th place with 49 points from the 29 games completed.
Whilst winning the Europa Conference will mean entry into next season’s Europa League, Chelsea will want to stay in the Top Five to compete in the Champions League.
A quick note on that fixture against Arsenal, Cole Palmer was missing due to illness and also missed the games for England, so it’s hoped for all connected with Chelsea that Cole is back fit and raring to go tonight as the Blues are definitely a better team with CP in.
News emerged this week, that Chelsea have an obligation to buy Jadon Sancho from Manchester United at the end of the season for £25 Million.
If that doesn’t happen, Chelsea have to pay United £5 Million as a penalty.
Football, it’s a funny old game!
Tottenham suffered a defeat against Fulham by a 2-0 score before the International Break.
That leaves Ange’s Spurs team in 14th place with the same 34 points as Everton and West Ham all having completed 29 games.
It does appear that Ange Postecoglou is placing all his Tottenham Eggs in the Europa League basket, going all out to win that particular competition.
Tottenham have qualified for the Quarter-Final and will face Eintracht Frankfurt in a 2-legged affair starting in Germany in a couple of weeks’ time.
Ange has famously stated that,
‘He wins a trophy in his 2nd season at a club!’
That is a big statement but it is still a possibility, however, it’s commonly assumed that Big Ange will be sacked if that achievement doesn’t occur in this ‘2nd season’ at Tottenham.
Chelsea gained the victory over Tottenham from a thrilling 3-4 score when these two met at the Chas and Dave Memorial Stadium back in December.
The goals going in as follows,
9′ Dominic Solanke (Tottenham 1-0)
11′ Dejan Kulusevski (Tottenham 2-0)
17′ Jadon Sancho (Chelsea 2-1)
Half-Time Slice of Ham and Pineapple Pizza and a Can of Tizer.
61′ Cole Palmer (Chelsea 2-2)

It got exciting at the Top of the Scottish Premier League before the International Break when Rangers gained a brilliant away day victory over Celtic in the Old Firm Derby at Celtic Park, to reduce the gap between the two teams to 13 points.
The hard work continued from the Teddy Bears on Saturday when Rangers took on Dundee FC (who?) and gained a brilliant victory from a 3-4 scoreline, after trailing 2-0 and 3-1.
Celtic had gained a victory over Hearts (who?) earlier in the day that gave the Green and White Hoops 78 points with 7 games remaining.
Rangers have 65 points and realistically can only achieve a further 21 if a victory is gained in all of the remaining fixtures, which is a maximum of 86 points.
Meaning, that Celtic will officially be crowned Champions of the Scottish Pub League if they gain a victory over St Johnstone (who?) on the 6th of April, Kilmarnock (who?) on the 12th of April and then the 3rd one which is yet to be confirmed due to the unusual ‘Spilt’ that the SPL have, regardless of Rangers’ results.
The ‘split’ separates the Top 6 from the Bottom 6, meaning the remaining 5 games are against teams that are of a similar standing.
So as not to see Celtic at the Top face St Johnstone (who?) at the Bottom, with a massive 52 points difference.
Imagine if that occurred in the English Premier League, Liverpool have 53 points more than Leicester but still have to face each other in the remaining fixtures.
The stunning comeback against Dundee (who?) pleased the Loveable YankScot who is still dodging bullets and collecting Trolleys over in Seattle.
‘He’s Celtic, United but Brendan has decided that Green is the best colour to be!’
