Game Week-30

All of these fixtures are the reverse of Game Week-17 which took place just before Christmas 2026.

Saturday 14th

BURNLEY v BOURNEMOUTH

15.00 in England

Burnley suffered an away-night defeat against Everton at Hill Dickinson Stadium last Tuesday.

A goal conceded in each half left Scott Parker’s Clarets with the loss from a 2-0 scoreline.

Burnley remain in 19th place with 19 points from 29 games played.

That is now 9 points from safety, with Nottingham Forest being the safe team on 27 points.

West Ham also have 27 points but are in the final relegation place on goal difference.

Burnley have a far inferior goal differential to both teams above so the gap is realistically 10 points not 9.

15- Leeds United- scored 37/conceded 48, (minus- 11) 31 pts

16- Tottenham- scored 39/conceded 46, (minus- 7) 29 pts

17- Nottingham Forest- scored 28/conceded 43, (minus- 15) 27 pts

18- West Ham- scored 35/conceded 54, (minus- 19) 27 pts

19- Burnley- scored 32/conceded 58, (minus- 26) 19 pts

20- Wolves- scored 22/conceded 52, (minus- 30) 16 pts

Which basically means Burnley, unless a miracle happens, will be returning to the Championship.

Whilst a draw was predicted by this EveryTip column in last Tuesday’s game between Bournemouth and Brentford, it wasn’t envisaged that either team would not score.

The draw by a 0-0 score, gave both teams a point apiece and left the Cherries unbeaten in the last 9 Premier League fixtures with 4 wins and 5 draws in those 9 games.

Bournemouth sit in 9th place with the same 40 points as Fulham and Sunderland from the 29 games completed.

Both teams shared the points from a draw by a 1-1 score when Bournemouth entertained Burnley on December 20th, 2025.

After a goalless 1st-half, Antoine Semenyo scored for the Cherries in the 67th minute to give Bournemouth a lead.

When it appeared the home team were on for a win, Armando Broja scored an equaliser for Burnley in the 90th minute, to give both teams a point apiece.

Betfred offer Burnley at 11/4, the Draw at 13/5 and slight Odds On 9/10 for Bournemouth to come away with all 3-points.

Betfred offer 5/1 that Rayan Scores First and 8/5 that Bournemouth Score in Both Halves.

(If your pre-match First Goalscorer bet scores First and then scores a Second, Betfred DOUBLE the odds.

If they score a Third, Betfred TREBLE the odds.)

SUNDERLAND v BRIGHTON

15.00 in England

Following 3 defeats and a draw in the last 4 games, Sunderland got back to winning ways on Tuesday by inflicting a defeat on Leeds United at Elland Rd.

Leeds thought they had scored in the 64th minute, however, the goal was ruled out by the dreaded VAR.

The dreaded then immediately got involved in a handball incident, where a Leeds player thought he was Kobe Bryant and advised the on-field referee, Stuart Attwell to look at the pitch side monitor.

Once this is done, as everyone now knows, the original decision is usually upgraded.

The original decision made by Stuart was to play on and ignore the Leeds handball, however, once the referee looked at the monitor, there was no doubt about the incident and a penalty was awarded.

Habib Diarra coolly converted the spot kick to give Sunderland the lead.

With this being the only goal, the Black Cats held on for the away night victory from a 1-0 scoreline.

Sunderland sit in 11th place with the same 40 points as Fulham and Bournemouth from 29 games played.

That is only 4 points away from 7th which could potentially be a European place next season, which is something that Regis Le Bris and his men can work towards.

Sunderland suffered FA Cup heartbreak on Sunday, with the Black Cats knocked out of the competition by the team that currently sit at the bottom of League One them being Port Vale.

Following a couple of wins in the previous 2 games, Brighton suffered a defeat on Wednesday Night against Arsenal at the Amex.

Although Arsenal are at the Top of The Table and going for the title, Brighton did put in a good shift but unfortunately conceded an early goal and couldn’t score in the remainder of the game, ultimately, suffering the loss by a 1-0 score.

Brighton sit in 13th place with 37 points from the 29 games completed.

Neither team managed a goal in the Game Week-17 encounter, meaning both gained a pre-Christmas point from a 0-0 scoreline.

Betfred offer Sunderland at 21/10, the Draw at 12/5 and 23/20 for Brighton to come away with all 3-points.

Betfred offer 6/1 that Brian Brobbey Scores First and 2/1 that Danny Welbeck Scores Anytime.

(If your pre-match First Goalscorer bet scores First and then scores a Second, Betfred DOUBLE the odds.

If they score a Third, Betfred TREBLE the odds.)

ARSENAL v EVERTON

17.30 in England

Sky Sports

Arsenal had a great night on Wednesday, not only gaining a victory over Brighton at the Amex but then finding out that Man City had drawn their fixture against Nottingham Forest, meaning the title challenge is back in Mikel’s hands.

A single Bukayo Saka goal, scored in the 9th minute, gave Arsenal the victory over Brighton from a 1-0 scoreline.

After 30 games played (the Gunners have played a game more than their rivals) Arsenal sit at the summit with 67 points, which is now 7 more than Man City.
That means, Arsenal can afford to lose against City in April, see Man City win their game in hand and still have a 1-point advantage.

Obviously, that’s on the proviso that Arsenal win the rest of their games.

With 8/9 games remaining, it’s more than likely there will be a few more twists and turns in the title race, however, it is now in Arsenal’s hands, which it wasn’t going into last Wednesday night’s games.

The Gunners have progressed to the Quarter-Final of the FA Cup, eventually knocking out the League One outfit Mansfield on Saturday.

Arsenal face Bayer Leverkusen in Germany on Wednesday in their Champions League encounter.

Everton gained their 2nd victory in succession last Tuesday Night, this time gaining a home win over Burnley by a 2-0 scoreline.

James Tarkowski scored the opener to give the Toffees a lead at the break.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall scored a 2nd on the hour mark and with no further goals, Everton held on for the victory in front of their Hill Dickinson faithful, which has only happened 5 times this season.

Everton have a better record away from HDS.

Everton sit in 8th place with 43 points from 29 games completed.

Viktor Gyokeres scored the only goal of the game at Hill Dickinson Stadium to give Arsenal the away-day victory over Everton from a 1-0 scoreline

Betfred offer Arsenal at Odds On 1/3, the Draw at 18/5 and 17/2 for Everton to come away with all 3-points.

CHELSEA v NEWCASTLE

17.30 in England

Sky Sports

After 2 draws and a loss, in the previous 3 Premier League games, Chelsea got back to winning ways on Wednesday, gaining an emphatic victory over Aston Villa at Villa Park by a 4-1 scoreline.

It was the home team that scored first to take a lead after just 2 minutes.

Joao Pedro scored twice before the half-time whistle to give Chelsea a lead at the break.

Cole Palmer scored number 3 in the 55th minute, before Joao scored his 3rd and Chelsea’s 4th in the 64th minute to seal his hat-trick and seal all 3 points for the Blues.

Chelsea sit in 5th place with the same 48 points as Liverpool, both having completed 29 games.

That win sees Chelsea 3 points adrift of Villa.

Chelsea’s FA Cup adventure continues following a hard-fought victory over Wrexham at the Racecourse Ground on Saturday, where Liam Rosenior’s Blues eventually progressed after drawing the game over 90 minutes, then scoring twice in the 30 minutes of Extra Time.

Newcastle gained a brilliant victory over Manchester United at St James Park on Wednesday and in the process, ended Michael Carrick’s unbeaten start to his Interim Manager’s stint at Old Trafford.

The fun started in the 1st minute of added on extra at the end of the 1st-half, when Jacob Ramsey received a 2nd-Yellow Card and the subsequent Red to leave Newcastle a man down for the 2nd-half.

That wasn’t the end of the 1st-half action, when Newcastle were then awarded a penalty for a foul on Anthony Gordon.

AG dusted himself down and coolly scored to give Newcastle a lead at the break.

It was still not the end of the 1st-half action, with Manchester United scoring an equaliser in the 54th minute (45+9) to take both teams in level at the break.

Willian Osula scored the winner for Newcastle in the 90th minute to give the Magpies the points from a 2-1 scoreline.

Newcastle sit in 12th place with 39 points from 29 games played.

There’s a little trip to the Camp Nou or Nou Camp to face Barcelona in the last-16 of the Champions League, before this clash against Chelsea, who themselves also have a Champions League fixture against Paris Saint-Germain.

The slight difference being, Newcastle have to travel over to Spain, whereas Chelsea stay in London and face PSG at Stamford Bridge.

In contrast to today’s hosts, Newcastle were knocked out of the FA Cup on Saturday, suffering a home defeat against Man City at St James Park.

Both teams shared the points from a draw by a 2-2 score when Newcastle hosted Chelsea back in December.

Nick Woltemade scored twice in the 1st-half to give Newcastle a comfortable lead at the break.

It was then Chelsea’s turn to score, with 2nd-half goals from Reece James and Joao Pedro, giving both teams a point apiece from the Archbishop’s favourite scoreline.

Betfred offer Chelsea at slight Odds On 4/5, the Draw at 3/1 and 11/4 for Newcastle to come away with all 3-points.

Betfred offer 9/2 that Cole Palmer Scores First and 5/2 that Anthony Gordon Scores Anytime.

WEST HAM v MAN CITY

20.00 in England

TNT Sport

A single Crysencio Summerville goal, scored in the 65th minute, gave West Ham the victory over Fulham at Craven Cottage last Wednesday.

The win from a 1-0 scoreline, leaves the Hammers in the relegation zone with 27 points, however, now with the same points as Nottingham Forest, both having played 29 times.

Remember, Nuno Espírito Santo, was the Forest Boss at the beginning of the season and was unceremoniously sacked by Evangelos Marinakis, so no doubt will be wanting to swap places with the Tricky Trees and relegate the Big Greek Geezer.

15- Leeds United- scored 37/conceded 48, (minus- 11) 31 pts

16- Tottenham- scored 39/conceded 46, (minus- 7) 29 pts

17- Nottingham Forest- scored 28/conceded 43, (minus- 15) 27 pts

18- West Ham- scored 35/conceded 54, (minus- 19) 27 pts

19- Burnley- scored 32/conceded 58, (minus- 26) 19 pts

20- Wolves- scored 22/conceded 52, (minus- 30) 16 pts

It could be thought in certain quarters, that Man City’s title challenge ended on Wednesday Night, following the draw against Nottingham Forest at the Etihad.

Antoine Semenyo opened the scoring on the half-hour mark to give City a lead at the break.

Forest got an equaliser early in the 2nd-half, however, Rodri scored 6 minutes later to re-establish City’s lead.

Unfortunately for the Citizens in attendance, like a bad dog walker, City couldn’t hold onto the lead and conceded another Forest goal to ultimately draw the game from a 2-2 scoreline.

As always, it is a point gained not 2 points lost, which leaves City in 2nd place with 60 points, however, because Arsenal gained a victory over Brighton at the same time, City are now 7 points adrift of the Gunners.

Although Man City do have a game in hand and the two have to meet in April, the advantage has slipped away and gone back to Arsenal, who can effectively lose against City, see City win their game in hand but still win the title with 1 point more, if Mikel’s Young Guns win the other 7 out of the 8 they have left.

There’s probably going to be a few more twists and turns over the next few months, however, Man City are now relying on other teams to do them a favour.

The quick question to ask is,

Will they?

Man City head to the Spanish Capital on Wednesday to face Real Madrid in the 1st-leg of the Champions League last-16 knockout stage.

City progressed to the Quarter-Final of the FA Cup, after a comprehensive victory over Newcastle at St James Park on Saturday.

Man City gained the pre-Christmas present of all 3 points following a victory over West Ham at the Etihad.

Goals from Erling Haaland (2) and Tijjani Reijnders gave Pep’s High Flying Blues the win over Nuno’s Hammers from a 3-0 scoreline.

Betfred offer West Ham at 7/2, the Draw at 16/5 and slight Odds On 8/13 for Man City to come away with all 3-points.

Betfred offer 12/5 that Erling Haaland Scores First and 13/5 that Jarrod Bowen Scores Anytime.

CRYSTAL PALACE v LEEDS UNITED

14.00 in England

Sky Sports

Although Crystal Palace were on an indifferent streak in the previous Premier League games, even the Eagles were too good for Tottenham last time out.

Goals from Ismaila Sarr (2) and Jorgen Strand-Larsen gave Oliver’s Army the victory over Non-Information Technology’s boys (Igor Tudor) by a 3-1 scoreline.

Tottenham did actually score first but couldn’t hold onto the lead and conceded almost straight away.

All 4 goals came in the 1st-half.

Tottenham had a player sent off when the score was 1-0, which saw Palace immediately take advantage of.

Palace sit in 13th place with 38 points from 29 games played.

Crystal Palace hopefully take on the Cypriots AEK Larnaca in the Europa Conference League last-16.

One says ‘hopefully’ as there is an unpleasant situation happening over in the Middle East which could threaten fixtures in games over that end of Europe.

‘Leeds, Leeds are falling apart again, Leeds, Leeds are falling apart again.’

Whilst that appears a bit harsh, Leeds suffered back-to-back Premier League defeats last time out (before the FA Cup tie) this time against Sunderland by a 1-0 scoreline.

Plus the ditty ‘Leeds are falling apart!’ is still funny.

Leeds sit in 15th place with 31 points from 29 games played.

The slight worry for the Elland Rd outfit is, despite a reasonably decent last few weeks in the Premier League, if West Ham, Nottingham Forest and Tottenham all win this Game Week-30 set of fixtures and Leeds lose, Daniel’s Whites could be in the final relegation place.

(There are a lot of anomalies to occur for that to happen but depending on goals scored/conceded, it is definitely a possibility!)

15- Leeds United- scored 37/conceded 48, (minus- 11) 31 pts

16- Tottenham- scored 39/conceded 46, (minus- 7) 29 pts

17- Nottingham Forest- scored 28/conceded 43, (minus- 15) 27 pts

18- West Ham- scored 35/conceded 54, (minus- 19) 27 pts

19- Burnley- scored 32/conceded 58, (minus- 26) 19 pts

20- Wolves- scored 22/conceded 52, (minus- 30) 16 pts

That is only 3 points above the relegation zone so the West Yorkshire Puddings will be wanting their White Idols to get a few more wins to secure Premier League status for next season.

Leeds gained an easy victory over Norwich to progress to the Quarter-Final of the FA Cup.

The winners of the QF know it’s a date at Wembley, however, there are still 6 Premier League teams out of the last 8 with 4 of those currently sitting in the Top 6, so progression to Wembley is going to be difficult, depending on the draw.

Leeds United hammered Crystal Palace at Elland Rd back in December.

Goals from Dominic Calvert-Lewin (2), Ethan Ampadu and Anton Stach gave Daniel Farke’s team the victory over Oliver Glasner’s side by a 4-1 scoreline.

Justin Devenny did score a consolation goal for Palace in the 92nd minute when the score was 3-0 in favour of the home team.

Betfred offer Crystal Palace at 6/5, the Draw at 23/10 and 21/10 for Leeds United to come away with all 3-points.

MANCHESTER UNITED v ASTON VILLA

14.00 in England

Sky Sports

Super Michael Carrick’s unbeaten start to his Interim Manager’s stint at Manchester United came to an end last week, with United suffering a defeat against Newcastle at St James Park.

Despite Newcastle having a player sent off in the 1st minute of the added-on extra of the 1st-half, Newcastle scored to take the lead a minute later.

That wasn’t the end of the 1st-half action with Casemiro scoring an equaliser, 9 minutes into the added time, to take both teams in level at the break.

United then conceded a late goal in the 90th minute to leave Michael with a first defeat in 8, from a 2-1 score.

Because United had already been knocked out of the FA Cup, this game against Villa will be 11 days since the loss against Newcastle, so there isn’t any excuse for tiredness or not being prepared and Mr Carrick has a great chance to firstly, let his players have a little break and secondly, get the lads set up for this game against a Villa team sitting just below on goal difference.

United sit in 3rd place with the same 51 points as Villa, both having completed 29 games.

Aston Villa also suffered a defeat last time out, succumbing to a home loss against Chelsea from a 4-1 scoreline.

Douglas Luiz did score after 2 minutes, however, it was then the Chelsea show, with the visitors scoring 4 times to get the victory over Villa.

Aston Villa face Lille in France on Thursday in the last-16 of the Europa League.

Villa weren’t in the FA Cup either but have the Europa League game before this clash at Old Trafford, which could have a bearing on the outcome today.

Unai Emery’s Claret and Blues got the home win over Ruben Amorim’s Red Devils in the Game Week-17 affair at Villa Park.

Morgan Rogers scored the opener in the 45th minute, however, although it was close to half-time, Matheus Cunha had time to score an equaliser to take both teams in level at the break.

Morgan then scored a 2nd just before the hour mark and with no further goals, Villa gained the victory from a 2-1 scoreline.

Betfred offer Manchester United at Odds On 8/11, the Draw at 11/4 and 16/5 for Aston Villa to come away with all 3-points.

Betfred offer 11/2 that Bruno Fernandes Scores First and 9/4 Ollie Watkins Scores Anytime.

(If your pre-match First Goalscorer bet scores First and then scores a Second, Betfred DOUBLE the odds.

If they score a Third, Betfred TREBLE the odds.)

NOTTINGHAM FOREST v FULHAM

14.00 in England

Sky Sports

Following 3 straight defeats in all competitions under Vitor Pereira, somehow Nottingham Forest gained a point from a draw by a 2-2 score against Man City last time out.

After conceding a goal and trailing at the break, Morgan Gibbs-White scored early in the 2nd-half to level the score.

Forest then conceded a 2nd but although the fear then was that City would push on for the win, Elliot Anderson scored another equaliser and with no further goals, both teams gained a point apiece from the Archbishop’s favourite scoreline.

Forest sit in the precarious position of 17th place with the same 28 points as West Ham.

15- Leeds United- scored 37/conceded 48, (minus- 11) 31 pts

16- Tottenham- scored 39/conceded 46, (minus- 7) 29 pts

17- Nottingham Forest- scored 28/conceded 43, (minus- 15) 27 pts

18- West Ham- scored 35/conceded 54, (minus- 19) 27 pts

19- Burnley- scored 32/conceded 58, (minus- 26) 19 pts

20- Wolves- scored 22/conceded 52, (minus- 30) 16 pts

Nottingham Forest host the Danish club Midtjylland in the Europa League knockout stage before this weekend’s clash against Fulham.

Fulham suffered a home defeat against West Ham last time out in the Premier League.

A single Hammers goal scored just after the hour mark gave the visitors the victory from a 1-0 scoreline.

Fulham sit in 10th place with the same 40 points as Sunderland and Bournemouth, still with the possibility of grabbing a European spot for next season.

Fulham were then surprisingly knocked out of the FA Cup on Sunday, suffering another home defeat, this time against Southampton at Craven Cottage, leaving Marco Silva and his team to concentrate fully on finishing as high as possible in the Premier League.

A Raul Jimenez converted penalty on the stroke of half-time gave Fulham the home win over Nottingham Forest from a 1-0 score, when these two met at Craven Cottage just before Christmas.

Betfred offer Nottingham Forest at 11/10, the Draw at 12/5 and 11/5 for Fulham to come away with all 3-points.

Betfred offer 15/2 that Morgan Gibbs-White Scores First and 12/5 that Harry Wilson Scores Anytime.

LIVERPOOL v TOTTENHAM

16.30 in England

Sky Sports

After 3 Premier League victories, Liverpool suffered a shock defeat against the bottom club Wolves last Tuesday.

After conceding in the 78th minute, Mo Salah scored his first Premier League goal since November to level the score going into the final 7 minutes or so.

Unfortunately for the travelling Anfield Rappers, Wolves scored a winner in the 94th minute to inflict the loss from a 2-1 scoreline.

That leaves Arne’s Slot Machines in 6th place with the same 48 points as Chelsea, both having completed 29 games.

Liverpool gained some sort of revenge on Wolves by progressing to the Quarter-Final of the FA Cup, following a victory at Molineux on Friday Night Football.

Tottenham’s horrific form continues under the New Boss Igor Tudor who seems like a rabbit in the headlights overseeing his team.

Tottenham are now winless in the last 11 Premier League games that have taken place this year, since the victory against Crystal Palace back in December under Thomas Frank.

Igor Tudor’s tenure has seen losses against Arsenal, Fulham and now Crystal Palace following the fixture against the Eagles last time out.

Dominic Solanke scored first to give Tottenham a lead, however, Micky Van De Van was sent off 4 minutes after the goal, with Micky shown a straight Red Card for denying a goal-scoring opportunity.

Palace immediately took advantage of having the extra man, scoring 3 times after the sending off, all before the half-time break.

There were no further goals in the 2nd-half leaving Tottenham with another defeat, this time from a 3-1 scoreline.

As shown below, Tottenham sit in 16th place with 29 points from 29 games played.

This could be an interesting weekend, which may see the teams at the bottom swapping places.

15- Leeds United- scored 37/conceded 48, (minus- 11) 31 pts

16- Tottenham- scored 39/conceded 46, (minus- 7) 29 pts

17- Nottingham Forest- scored 28/conceded 43, (minus- 15) 27 pts

19- Burnley- scored 32/conceded 58, (minus- 26) 19 pts

20- Wolves- scored 22/conceded 52, (minus- 30) 16 pts

Both teams play in the 1st-leg of the Champions League last-16 this week with Liverpool heading to Turkey to face Galatasaray and Tottenham going to Spain to take on Atletico Madrid.

Liverpool gained the away-day victory over Tottenham at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium back in December.

Xavi Simons was shown a straight Red Card in the 33rd minute following a horrendous challenge on Virgil Van Dijk, leaving Tottenham a man down for an hour or so.

Second-half goals from Alexander Isak and Hugo Ekitike gave Liverpool the pre-Christmas present of 3-points from a 2-1 scoreline.

Richarlison scored a consolation goal in the 83rd minute.

Tottenham were then reduced to 9 men following Cristian Romero receiving a 2nd Yellow Card and the subsequent Red in the 93rd minute, to beat his mates into the showers.

Betfred offer Liverpool at Odds On 1/3, the Draw at 4/1 and 7/1 for Tottenham to come away with all 3-points.

Betfred offer 4/1 that Mo Salah Scores First and 13/8 that Liverpool Win Both Halves.

BRENTFORD v WOLVES

Brentford gained a point from a draw by a 0-0 score in the midweek fixture against Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium last Tuesday.

Whilst neither team could score, a draw was predicted giving both teams a point apiece.

Brentford sit in 7th place with 44 points from the 29 games played so far.

As mentioned earlier, Brentford face West Ham in the FA Cup on Monday Night Football, which will be after the EveryTip column is finished.

Wolves gained their 2nd victory in succession and the best result of Game Week-28, by inflicting a defeat on Liverpool from a 2-1 scoreline, in front of the home fans at Molineux.

After a lifeless 75 minutes that both teams failed to provide any excitement for the fans in attendance (and those watching on the Gogglebox at home) Rodrigo Gomes scored to give Wolves a lead.

Rodrigo started the game on the bench but was sent on by Rob Edwards in the 70th minute.

Liverpool scored an equaliser 5 minutes after Hot Rod’s goal which did temporarily knock the stuffing out of everyone connected with Wolves.

Rob Edwards was visibly upset when the goal went in, however, tears of frustration turned to tears of joy, when the Man of the Match, Andre scored the winner in the 94th minute, following a speculative shot that took a deflection past the Liverpool Goalkeeper.

There wasn’t anytime for Liverpool to score, leaving Wolves with back-to-back home victories over the space of 4 days, this time by a 2-1 scoreline.

Wolves remain at the bottom of the table, with 16 points from 19 games played.

Following the victory over Liverpool last Tuesday in the Premier League, Wolves were then knocked out of the FA Cup on Friday by Liverpool.

In truth, it would probably have been better to win the FA Cup tie and have a chance of going to Wembley than win the Premier League game, which, although was a great achievement, the 3 points won’t change Wolves’ plight in avoiding relegation.

It was Brentford that came away with all 3-points in the Game Week-17 encounter at Molineux back in December.

After a goalless 1st-half, Lewis Keane-Potter scored twice for the Bees to give Brentford the victory over Wolves from a 2-0 scoreline.

Jorgen Strand-Larsen missed a penalty in the 88th minute.

Betfred offer Brentford at Odds On 8/15, the Draw at 3/1 and 9/2 for Wolves to come away with all 3-points.

Betfred offer 11/4 that Igor Thiago Scores First and 6/4 that Brentford Win To Nil.

(If your pre-match First Goalscorer bet scores First and then scores a Second, Betfred DOUBLE the odds.

If they score a Third, Betfred TREBLE the odds.)
