Where the extra place helps most

SHALAA ASKER in the 16:45 at Chelmsford has the biggest gap on our model today: forecast at 13/2, against our tissue price of 1.44. David Egan rides for Charlie Wallis, and Betfred pays 3 places instead of 2 in a 7-runner race.

EVERYONESGAME (16:00 Plumpton, forecast 8/1, tissue 2.22) is the other big value call, with Chad Bament riding for Andy Irvine, also in a 7-runner race paying 3 places.

Both are legs in today’s Daily Lucky 15, with BILLY BOI BLUE (13:15 Southwell) and RAJENDRA (19:30 Wolverhampton). Betfred’s extra places apply to each way multiples too, and if only one leg wins, Betfred’s Multiply Your Odds pays three times its odds in cash.

A word on runners: the 16:00 at Plumpton and the 16:45 at Chelmsford have exactly 7 runners, the minimum for 3 places, and the 15:45 at Southwell and the 20:00 at Wolverhampton have exactly 12, the minimum for 4. A single non-runner would take any of these back to standard place terms, so check before you bet.

Today’s money back race is the 14:00 at Plumpton.
